Story

Allium Market is a specialty foods market and cafe located in the bustling Coolidge Corner district of Brookline, Massachusetts. Part Market, part Cheese Shop, part Cafe- Allium has something for everyone!

Our market caters to anyone who loves food (who doesn't?!) with hard to find and traditionally produced pantry items, local produce, and tons of special ingredients for anyone from the professional chef to the broke college student with no kitchen. The market is a great place to stock up on pantry staples, plan your next dinner party, find your new favorite treat or get the perfect gift for the foodie in your life. We are so excited to share our favorite finds with you!

The cheese department is a carefully curated selection of cheeses staffed by our mongers who are consistently striving to find the best cheeses to share with our customers. Alliums cheese department will be the first true cut to order fromagerie in Brookline, and will have the largest selection of domestic and imported cheeses in the area.

Allium's cafe boasts simple, flavorful, freshly made lite bites. Salads and mediterranean style tapas/dips are available, as well as a full menu of toasts for the perfect lunch or lite dinner. Did we mention we will also have made to order cheese boards available for lunch?! Splitting a salad and a monger selected cheese board for lunch with a friend sounds perfect to us! Our Executive Pastry chef will be baking off amazing pastries daily, while our cafe offers a wide range of coffees and expresso drinks, teas, and vinegar and shrub spritzers. Never had a vinegar spritzer? We think you are going to fall in love! A small but comfortable seating area in the front of our store overlooks Beacon street and provides a much needed rest from the hustle and bustle of Coolidge Corner. Room for individuals or groups- come on over for your next business lunch or study group!
