First, the store had nothing to sell. It was a complete mess, upon entering. After searching for the item, I walked up to the counter and asked where it could be found. The lady behind the counter said "they don't sell it", so I thanked her and went on my way. All of a sudden, I hear her yelling for me to come back. Walked back into the store to be accused of stealing. She thought the water I entered the store with was not paid for. That's understandable. The thing that upset me was, I peeled the paper label off my Poland Spring bottle a day or two before. It was also one of the LARGER bottles, which I am 97% sure it was not sold there. It should have VERY clear that the water was not purchased there. On top of all that, the bottle was half full and I was only in the store for less than 5 minutes. She tells me I need to tell her what I have in my hands upon entering the store and proceeds to argue with me, when I tell her "thats crazy!" Personally, I think it had nothing to do with what I had in my hand. It was more of what I looked like, which made her think I was stealing something. It's alright, because I will never shop there again. It's only a matter of time before a NEW and more respectable store is places there.

Better know what you need. This place is old school. I don't really like it but I would miss it.

Vintage looking 1960's corner store could be so much more. This sadly forgettable side street mini-mart of yesteryear could be charming and retrograde with needed TLC but is instead held hostage by careless ownership who's turned it into a dump, often attracts unsavory crowds looking to buy cigarettes. Was disgusted the one, last time in here to find trip hazards and overstock all over the floors not to mention used and dirty food containers in the beverage coolers. Don't know how the owners pass health and other safety inspections. Gets a star for untampered store front, another for the 90s Bubblicious labels on the gum rack. Owners couldn't care less about keeping a slice of mid-century main street alive.

They guys working at this place are always upset, I've seen them shouting at customers at least 3 times. I don't know what is their issue but I do know you shouldn't go in there (same kind of place in harvard st). Avoid at all cost if you don't want to interact with rude people!

The owners of this store are friendly. Not the most clean looking but it's good for getting some soda or snacks.
