I have lived in more than a couple different states within the lower 48 in the last five years without health insurance. Therefore I have mostly attended state clinics and institutions as such as family health centers. Most have been very affordable and had very good service, especially because I always pay my bills immediately. However FHC has been the rare exception, I went thru a pregnancy/childbirth with them and the doctors are amazing, disgracefully the staff is ridiculously incompetent. Every appointment that I ever made I at least had to wait an hour if not a couple to see who I was there to see. Not only do they make you wait but they everytime they change you from one room to the next you have to wait at least 30 minutes for the provider, a simple check up will take 3 hours. The last complaint is that I have been trying to pay my bill for the birth for 45 days but every time I call to PAY A BILL I get no answer, leave a message and nobody responds, its like they are allergic to money. The accountants are lazy, incompetent and encourage you to apply for medicaid even if you dont qualify (lie) Thanks
