I've been to Alvethorpe many times. A good place to take a scenic walk. The paths are paved, so if you're looking for a hike you'll have to explore off path. There's a quaint little lake with a few benches at each end. It's amazing how much wildlife you see just sitting and watching the water and the banks. There's a play area for kids, a small golf course, and areas to play all kinds of sports. It's a neat place to go. Plenty of parking available. Worth a visit if you're nearby.

Great for waking. Tennis courts are nice. Basketball court is good. Baseball field is well kept. Golf course is beautiful.

I didn't have good experience in this park. Friends I was meeting weren't allowed access it, picnic tables were in a very bad condition. Area seems to have been neglected a lot. Park wardens are using noisy vehicles which don't add too much to a nice experience there. Nobody seems to be taking care of the aggressive ducks who will try to peck at you if you make eye contact with them. I can't believe a park as this one, has mulch cover in the children playground area. 
Looks good on the outside but not a nice place to be.

My parents took me to this park, I've been going here my whole life. Now I take my kids here and they love it too! Although I wish they still had the paddle boats.

I would've given it 0 * if possible. Ticks, duck poop everywhere, nothing is cleaned, even the old thugs that are hired for entrance guards. Terrible place with terrible people. Wanted to bring over some friend and they were stopped. Abington truly deserves this park, overrated, making you feel bad after you've been there. Just like the white trash township itself.
