Elkins Park Presbyterian Church is an evangelical congregation of the Presbyterian Church USA which was born in the late 1950s as several local congregations combined to create a new church home here on Cedar Road in new facilities to allow for growth and renewal in the Holy Spirit and respond to our growing community needs.
Our congregation meets every Sunday morning at 10:30 am to worship God and to celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our blended worship style includes Bible instruction, hymns and contemporary music, prayer, ministry and service. Whatever your past spiritual or church experience, we want you to know that you are welcome here. We would love to get to know you and hope that you will plan to become part of our community and worship with us soon. Please feel free to join us at any time for any event.
The Mission of the Elkins Park Presbyterian Church is to be the Family of God—to serve, love, pray, and worship together.
We will live into this mission through our vision for our community and our congregation following Christ’s example to:
Serve God and one another through Christian Education, fellowship, visitation, and world-wide mission, as we utilize the gifts of the Holy Spirit to impact others for Christ.
Love God and each other by celebrating life events, supporting small group ministry, providing hospitality to all, and visitation to the homebound.
Pray to God by sharing prayer requests for specific people and mission concerns, as we pray individually and together.
Worship God in small and large groups, on Sundays and special holidays, as we celebrate the sacraments together, and offer various worship styles to all within our sanctuary and out in the community.
