Excellent service and professional staff. Roseann did a great job cutting my curly hair. Loved all the products that she used on my hair.

My experience here was amazing. From the point of walking in the receptionist greeted me and offered me something to drink. All the stylist were also very friendly. The stylist i went to see was Teresa. Which is a devachan educator and top stylist. She was amazing! Just when i thought i knew my hair and what it needed, she totally schooled me on it and explained just exactly what i needed to do for my very curly course hair and backed it up with all the reasoning why. Shes highly knowledgeable on curls and also gave me the best hair cut ever. I get alot of shrinkage but the way she cut it it gave me volume but length and a great shape. If your like me that does not want to make the trip into the city than this is the place to get a curly cut.

When I came in for a devacut, I was greeted nicely and taken care of well. When I asked for a specific length for my cut I ended up getting my hair cut much shorter than asked. When my hair was getting styled, that's when I really noticed that things went downhill. The products were just laid on my curl, there was no scrunching, no adding of water which was a main necessity for devacurl. Still giving it hope I went under the dryer to dry my hair and the products didn't lock into my hair, knowing it might happen because she styled it damp and didn't scrunch it. While my hair was drying she started touching the inside of it and moving it around which is a BIG NO for curly hair becaue it'll cause frizz. Since my hair wouldn't dry she used the deva diffuser on HOT even tho I told her I'm transitioning from heat. My hair came out worst than I came in. No definition, no moisture. Although they were very nice I am not pleased with the finished result.

Yianna is the nicest friendliest hairdresser ever! She's a great person. Putting that aside, I have to say that the $120 haircut I got was not what I expected. All the talk about a fantastic method for cutting curly hair that warrants a price tag of $100 plus is absolutley ludicrous. So here's my warning: If it sounds too good to be true-It Is!! I could've gotten the same at a super cuts or done it myself. It actually had a weird shelf-mushroom shape and I thought it would look better as it grew out but it's not. It's not the worst cut I've had but certainly not one worth $120. I had Yianna color my hair too which turned out to be a Coca Cola reddish color and was lighter at the roots. Yianna said to come in and she'd correct it for me. As I left the receptionist said it would be $30. $30 to fix a mistake? When I asked why I was being charged when I clearly had stated that I didn't want any red or brassinea, Yianna came over and said "no worries, you don't have to pay". If you want to buy into the hype that there is some magical way of cutting mg curly hair that is worth paying $100-$150 for each cut, then be my guest. Personally, I'll cut it myself and go have a nice dinner somewhere.
