Service was great overall, however there were a few complications, such as not being able to get into my room and missing part of a rehearsal dinner for a wedding because the door code malfunctioned. It took a long time to get a hold of anyone and nothing was offered to make up for it. I didn't expect something to be done, but I would have been more impressed had they tried to accommodate in a more friendly and customer service oriented manner. They seem a bit busy and understaffed in my opinion, but I know they are trying to do what they can so that's why 4 stars.

Not a good experience regarding the property. 1140 Beachwalker. Loft unusable due to heat upstairs, linens on beds subpar, fan broken in bathroom, tiny kitchen and balcony . nice ocean view was only good feature, I would not recommend this rental company. I wrote a review on their website, but of course, it will not be posted. Beware....

Beach is a great resort  for family of all ages..Also best place to celebrate any occasion.. You can have a morning beach walk here..

If I could leave NO stars, that would be optimal. The house we rented for over $3,600 for a week was FILTHY, food stuck on dishes, dirty sandy sheets, cabinets had stale food in them, toilet paper holder on the floor. And the management company DID NOTHING!!! We've been going to Amelia Island for over 30 years- owned & rented, rented our place, we have NEVER SEEN or EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS!!! Absolutely AWFUL!!!!

My wife and I rented Sea Dunes Condo unit 1604, Amelia Island, on 1/15/17 for 3 nights.  The unit was ground floor ocean front, but dated and in need of refurbishment; adequate for a quick night stay but not what you expect for several nights at a gated, ocean front facility. Our real disappointment was with the management company, Amelia Rental and Management.  Dispite my calling them the first day and second day, asking for house keeping to simply clean (windex) the main view window of the unit, which had not been cleaned upon our check-in, each employee I spoke to assured me it would be taken care of, yet no one ever came to provide the basic cleaning service that would allow you to view the ocean front scenery without looking through grime and haze. (They did immediately send over a plumber to unclog the bathroom shower drain). I gave up on the 3rd day since we were leaving the next mourning. I had also asked the management contacts to clean out the ice maker, as it was literally moldy inside. Extreamly poor management / communication skills.  The owner of this unit is not being well served as we will not rent from this company in the future.  One additional point, I wrote a review on the management company's web site on two separate occasions, but the review was never posted. Good lesson for future vacation planning: give weight to third party web site reviews, as this one on Google or Trip Advisor, etc. vs. a self contained management company's web site, as apparently unfavorable reviews may be selectively omitted. As an example, you will not see mine or other unfavorable reviews (that you see here on Google) on their website. As of 3/17/17, the date of this review, their website has no 2017 reviews at all and all the 2016 reviews on their site are complimentary with 5 star ratings....enough said.
