Story

American Constructors is a customer-focused builder combining over 30 years of experience, innovative thinking, and high-level technical expertise to deliver outstanding quality and the best value on every project. We have constructed a diverse mix of projects in the commercial, healthcare, industrial, high-tech, higher-ed, K-12, and religious markets, totaling over 15 million square feet.

History
Bill Heine established American Constructors in Austin in 1982. The company's foundation rose from the complicated details and challenges of design-build high-rise concrete construction. Now, more than 30 years later, we have completed over 175 projects, valued at just shy of $1 billion. We have also built a diverse, experienced team of knowledgeable and ambitious employees to help us deliver successful projects to our valued clients, over 80 percent of whom we’ve done work for previously.

Services
As a general contractor/construction management firm, we provide full construction services and have experienced staff to take projects from the preliminary stage of design all the way through post-completion warranty inspections and maintenance assistance. We excel in providing input and support to projects that require a builder with detailed engineering expertise to evaluate designs and systems and to meet stringent budgets and schedules. Additionally, we self perform a large percentage of our own concrete and carpentry work.
