Things I liked: They have someone to answer the phone all the time. The staff on the phone has always been courteous and able to answer all my questions. All the forms I needed were on their website and I was able to fax them all to them from my printer at home. I was not charged on my credit card until the cremation occured. The price was exactly as stated on the web site. I did however pay an additional fee to use my credit card. Things I did not like: I picked up the ashes in Shoreline. They are not there all the time in Shoreline, and in fact I had to arrange a time so they'd be there and a time a friend could be there to pick up the ashes. Apparently you can't just leave ashes sitting around. Inconvenient but not too bad. In my particular case the cause of death was waiting for some coroner lab results so the death certificate said "pending" and took about 3 weeks and 3 phone calls to get the certificates mailed to me. (In the mail now they say) It was hard to get them to order them, it was hard to get them to mail them to me. So the the death certificates were a real pain to get in a timely manner but everything else was just fine.

American Cremation and Casket Alliance is a family owned funeral home with locations in Seattle, Shoreline, Marysville, and Lakewood (Tacoma). This funeral home is unique because it offers funeral servicesand cremation at about half the price of other funeral homes in the area. They are able to offer their services at a fair price because they operate out of a modest, family owned funeral home instead of a large corporate funeral service. Over the years ACCA has become well known for thier friendly staff, compassionate service and honest approach. Their family will make you feel confident from the moment you call that your loved ones will be treated with the dignity and care you would expect from a family funeral home.

My mother passed away and I didn't even want to fill out their ridicules paperwork. Some mean old lady named Jenny kept telling me I was doing it wrong. It was like she didn’t even care that my mom had just passed away.
