Notice in a news report on television about this business. Since I like barbecue I had to try this place. Lunch for two cost $40. I tried their beef brisket, pulled pork, and ribs with a side of beans and salad with drinks. You know what it was just okay and maybe reheated barbecue. Instead of being juicy and falling off the bone it was dry. After tasting it I can cross it off my list. This location is on route 22 west and can be miss when traffic is moving so look for their colors. They do have a parking lot dedicated to their store. They also cater. The original owner sold franchisees but sold them all and is keeping his original store I believe in Kearny, NJ. Maybe that's the one to try.

Great BBQ! Always quick. Once you order than cut it right in front of you. They carry a bunch of sauces for you to try. My favorite is sweet que. There is a place to sit but it's best to get take out. Sides are good but some have small portions so I would ask before you order a side if you are really hungry.

So great, I'm afraid to review it... Great meats. Great sides. Amazing sauces. Very friendly staff. Must-visit. Small space. Count on take-out or eat it in your car.

It's hard to find "good" American style BBQ. American Heroes will not disappoint you. A must try are the 5 different sauces to top off your brisket, ribs, sausage or chicken. Don't gwt disciuraged if you ride past and see a line. The line moves fast....

The food is always so fresh and the meats are so juicy and tender. The smell and aroma emanating from inside to outside is unbelievable. The homemade sides are delicious, I would recommemd the corn bread with jalapeños and the bread pudding--forget about it! Come hungry and you'll be so satisfied.
