The American Museum of Magic is the largest collection of stage magicians' memorabilia open to the public in the Western Hemisphere.
The American Museum of Magic is the largest public museum in the Western Hemisphere devoted to the history of magic and magic performance. Its two facilities located in Marshall, Michigan house exhibitions in the main building and collections, archives and a research library that is open by appointment. Founded by the late Robert and Elaine Lund in 1978, the museum has transitioned from a private collection to a public museum with regular hours of visitation. The American Museum of Magic is supported by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
The mission of the American Museum of Magic is to inspire and delight the public with the wonder of magic, as well as to document and celebrate the contributions and resilience of the magician.
