I think there was more art in the gift shop than on exhibit. Most of the exhibit space was completely empty, There is an exhibit of Andy Warhol pieces, and then a 17 minute video and that's about it. I was hoping for a broader collection, and maybe even more information about the pieces on display and why they were chosen to be displayed, or what significance they had in the art world. Something that would at least make it more of a learning experience. It definitely wasn't worth the $10 entry price, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Loved all of the beautiful pieces of art. So much talent and imagination. All the different mediums were amazing. Many forms of art took my breathe away. Amazing!

The museum was in the process of redoing things from Art Prize so only one floor of exhibits was available to see the day I was there. What I did see was very inspiring. The staff was very courteous and apologetic for more displays not being available. They also have a nice gift shop and the lady who was working there was most accomodating and friendly.

Felt like me and my wife were being judged from the moment we got here. Also feel like it's a huge building with plenty of empty space. Doesn't seem like they have a whole lot to offer except hype. If your an art fanatic, I guess it's worth a visit, but don't expect anything to blow your hair back. I most likely will not be returning. Side note- the dividers in the bathroom between urinals are almost falling off the walls, it's a safety hazard. plastic anchors were not very well thought out. I suggest that management be more inviting of people that may not be from the "art croud". Maybe even make it more of an educational experience for people to help them understand the art, and therefor appreciate it.

Felt judged right whe i walked in. You can see more and more interesting art walking down the streets of grand rapids. You would be better off walking across the street and buying a 5 dollar coffee than buying admission.
