I was told that this is the best place to spend the night around the area. If that's the case, I highly recommend avoiding the area all together. This place looked pretty rough on the outside. We checked in in the middle of the night, when our car broke down near by. We ware treated with closed doors to the lobby. The night staff had a little glass window that looked like one of those crappy gas stations in Chester, PA or North Philadelphia. The vibe of the place did not give me much confidence. The room was O.K (I've been in worst). Dust on coffee maker. Live cockroaches in the bathroom. Stink bugs on the window. Peep hole for the door was stuffed with garbage. The second security latch was barely attached to the door. The only thing that gave me confidence was the local police. My wife and I ware fortunate to have been helped by the local police officer who took his time and assisted us with our miss fortune on the road. If you travel on the road, I recommend driving on and not stopping at this location if you can. If the traveling God's have punished you and you are forced to take shelter in this place, sleep tight. The local police is on point! Good luck traveler!

We stayed in a suite at this hotel. The room smelled damp and the comforter in the bed wouldn't stay in place. The shower head just dribbled water out. The breakfast was a lot smaller than any other hotel I've stayed at. Two choices for cereal, honey buns, mini blueberry muffins, milk, coffee. It was supposed to be ready by 7 but when we got there at 715, the milk and coffee were not ready. The suite had plenty of room and the check in process was fast, but all the other items made the stay unenjoyable.

We had made reservations on their direct website with our credit card which unbeknownst to us, only holds the reservation, does not pay for it. Therefore, we canceled those reservations and made new ones at a different site for the same hotel so that our employee could stay there without having the card on hand since the reservations were PAID for in full. The management (what a joke) of this hotel REFUSED to honor these reservations, would not let our employee check in BUT still charged our card. Am I the only one who sees this as STEALING?? It was stated that our employee had to have the Itinerary in hand, which is a little difficult considering the reservations were made online in VA and he was in SC. The Itinerary was faxed to the hotel, the Management had it in their hand and yet, again, still refused to honor the reservations. Still charged the credit card, would not refund, even though would not let our guy check in. Again, stealing! The only reason there is 1 star, is that you cannot put negative stars and you cannot post without at least 1. Finally, according to our employee, this hotel is a "dive" at best and he strongly suggests, do not go out after dark.....very dangerous element in the area.
