Nice place although not much to really do unless you have a boat. There is no really "beach erea". There are places to swim but you must walk a little ways through the woods and down a cliff. And they are small so if someone gets there before you, you will have to fund a different place. There is a pretty open place to swim at the store but it's a pretty good walk unless you drive. We just wanted to relax and do nothing so it was fine with us. Overall it's a nice place. We will be going back.

Great campsite, everyone was really friendly and it was really wooded and beautiful! Wish it had a better swim area (beach area) as we saw a lot of broken glass and it was a small area so hard to avoid the glass. We also had a pretty big problem with yellow jackets all over the campsite. **Bring spray or vinegar as they can become aggressive with food around. My daughter got stung on her ear.

I love this park because the campsites are fabulous, they are shaded , there are paved. The people that go there are very friendly. And I love the lake. And the Rangers are very nice

Awesome state park. I stay there several times every summer and when I'm not camping I stop there for gas in my boat. They are polite and helpful everytime! Paved roads paved parking for campers and rv. Only drawback I have ever found is its hard to get a spot to camp you have to reserve way in advance and it's hard for me to plan my vacations that far out.
