Amici Brick Oven Pizza
"Pizza is the universal tie-breaker in “What do we eat” discussions from college dorms to date nights. It’s versatile, relatively inexpensive and as healthy or crazily emphatically not healthy as you want it to be.The choices at Amici Brick Oven Pizza in the Village Commons are almost overwhelming, from the basic Amici pie with oil and basil to the wild mushroom and truffle oil-topped Shroomer I can personally vouch for that one!.Have yours on one of our outdoor tables and enjoy the beauty of the Village fountain.Amici Brick Oven Pizza also offers delivery and take-out service."

Amazing place we are in loved with the customer service, treat and food most than all its amazing tasty, and delicious brick oven pizza! Best has been the burger that Felix spoke highly about, greatly greeted by Naim! Thanks so much!
Our food was amazing!!! We had penne vodka, spaghetti and meatballs, calamari & dessert. I was pleasantly surprised with the portions s and taste! The atmosphere was relaxing and comforting. Our server Anastasia was super sweet, attentive and very friendly! We will definitely be returning….perhaps every weekend Parking: Easy and close
The food is very good, the problem they consistently have is speed. You order and they give you a time. It almost always another 20 or so minutes of waiting with no explanation. I’ve ordered from here 3 times and had this problem all 3 times. While the food is good, this will be my last time ordering here. City pizza is not far from here and much better with time management skills.
I am taken back with the food quality and service. I ordered the wild mushroom truffle speciality pizza and it was out of this world. The flavors were so robust, there was a party in my mouth. My girlfriend praises on how NY and NJ pizza is the best but she has been a customer of Amici for years and she will not have pizza from no where else. The wings were crispy and flavorful. I had the opportunity to speak with Tom and he extended his knowledge of food and explained on how using good quality ingredients is the secret to great tasting foods. He is from Brooklyn and is will be presenting a new culinary style menu. This is has been our spot and will continue to be.
Very nice warm ambiance, welcoming and attentive staff. Food was fresh and delicious.
New owners and everything was awful. We used to love their vodka sauce and their mozzarella sticks. Mozzarella sticks were mushy and the marinara has no flavor. Vodka sauce is also flavorless. End of an era. Mozzarella “wedges” attached
This place used to be great. Ordered a pizza with toppings and garlic bread for take-out. Simple. Only to arrive and find out they gave our pizza away by mistake. They said they could make a new one but it will take some time as they’re busy tonight. Okay fine... Asked if we could get new garlic bread as it’ll be cold and mushy now. Dude doesn’t have the “authority” to make bread? Okay fine… 30 minutes later new pizza is ready, plain, none of the toppings we ordered. Back to square one. We’re on pizza attempt number 3. The one star is for finally getting new garlic bread after begging.
I ran really quick to order pizza for my kids. It was quick the staff was friendly. I forgot to include garlic rolls and stopped a gentleman for assistance with the order. The gentleman just happen to be the new owner Alex. Alex, his wife, and business partner were so kind and even offered my kids a few of the new items that will be hitting the menu. Nutella pizza and veggie pizza were both a hit. Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will be back!
We ran into this spot by accident while traveling home one night. We actually wanted to hit the Panera after a long day but it was closed but we found this place buzzing just down the way on a Sunday night. We were greeted and seated right away and ordered a large pizza with Roma tomatoes and arugula and the pizza was fantastic! The pizza was cooked just right and the crust wasn’t hard like some pizzas can be so we ate this thing down to the very last bite. We really enjoyed our experience here and wouldn’t mind stopping by when passing through this area again!
The pizza was actually good Mediterranean but the reason I’m giving 3 stars is the Detroit pizza I ordered. I was pretty excited to see a Detroit style close to me! Online it doesn’t tell you much about the size. So when I got it and opened it up it was a 4square Detroit pizza. 4 square for $14.99? That’s one expensive pizza. Really expensive. To give you a point of reference, Detroit Eats in Boynton, their 4 square starts at $8. Their 8 square is $16. Amici is selling a square for $3.75 a piece! Another thing is a Detroit is supposed to be buttery and airy, with a golden-crisp cheese crust all around. There wasn’t enough air in the crust which results in just bread and lacked flavor. That’s the reason for my 3 stars. The other pizza was good, a bit more flavor in the crust and it would have been perfect.
