Google Maps highlighted Amici and it was exactly the menu we were looking for: great Italian food that was reasonably priced and had a good selection from apps to dinners and pizza. The service was outstanding - very attentive and quick to respond, plus super kind. The calamari were huge and the marinara was perfect accompaniment. Carbonara was heaven. House made sangria is a must. Caprese and Amici pizza were delicious. Had a GREAT meal!
My wife and I decided to try some Italian in Little Italy. We chose perfectly with Amici. The bread is so soft with a light crisp on the edge. The homemade red sangria was delicious. I wasn't sure after my first sip, but my second one, I tasted more of it and it was delightful. For lunch, my wife had the carbonara and she said it was one of the best she's had. I had the margherita pizza and hands down the best pizza and best Marge's pizza I've ever had. The dough was light, the mozzarella was chewy and stringy. It was perfect.
Amici restaurant is Amazing they have the best Italian sauce in New York City, the service was incredible. You must try their Spiedini appetizer, I was in heaven. Amici is a family run business that serves the best authentic Italian food in Little Italy on 165 Mulberry street. Go there you will love it!!!! Yummy!!!
Authentic Italian restaurant, great service and the food was awesome! I had Chicken Parmigiano and my wife had Fettuccine Alfredo. They were both so tasty! I highly recommend.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
You just spagetme When my friends were in town recently, we ate a ton of great food like all of this from @amicinyc in Little Italy. Pictured: 1. @elenapinedag ’s chicken parmigiana with penne alla vodka 2. @juliaz96 ’s gnocchi with marinara 3. @thetominator4 ‘s veal parmigiana with spaghetti 4. @stephbarbanell ‘s risotto con funghi mushroom 5. My gnocchi pesto And of course there was bread and wine for the table
Had a great lunch at Amici today. The staff was amazing. This was probably one of the best Chicken Parmesan I ever had. We had pizza and penne a la vodka as well; they were both fantastic. I would recommend visiting Amici…you will not be disappointed.
Entrees were great! It was a great price for great food. My friends and I went in with a couple of dietary restrictions dairy free and vegetarian and they had multiple options to cater to them. One thing I would say is to skip on the desserts, we ordered the tiramisu and the cannoli to split and we could’ve easily skipped on the tiramisu especially for the price compared to the other dishes.
You’d think an Italian restaurant in Little Italy would have pizza that tastes better than a digiorno frozen pizza. What an incredible disappointment. . Go ANYWHERE else. My wife had the gnocchi, which she said tasted good, but she only ate half of it.
Pasta dishes were mediocre and lacked strong garlicky flavor. Calamari dish did not have enough calamari and was chewy. Not sure about authenticity of the food because they didnt have olive oil on the table or bring it out for the bread. Like in the mafia movies...who is really cooking back there? Lol. Service was very slow and we had several waiters and even the manager getting us what we asked for instead of the waitress. Tip is automatically added in and not disclosed verbally.
We choose to dine in here after browsing through Little Italy. They have big fans for indoor seating and aircon. We tried their bolognese, pizza and the one that stood out Spiedini alla Romana. Its something unique and love the generous sauce portion and capers. Would definitely recommend!
