The restaurant was okay, I did not hate it but I did not find it to be special but the food was fairly good. I went for my anniversary. However, the rose was great and calamari. I was extremely disappointed in the mussels. I paid $16 for empty shells in white wine sauce literally. As for the chicken parm - 10/10 no complaints . The bolognese pasta was an 8/10 I didn’t find it to be special but it was good. The bill was $175 and I was not sure why. I was not even sure why I was even charged a convenience fee , they should have consulted prior to adding fees. I didn’t mind the gratuity I was just confused of the overall price however, the service was a 10/10 for me.
The ingredients were super low quality. If this restaurant will be in Italy it will be empty. The staff is trying to make their best. The olive oil they are serving is so low quality, I would suggest to change the supplier and bring some good quality olive oil from Italy. The food we were eating was also not delicious. The pasta was al dente which was a good thing, but the food was not prepared by the heart. I liked wine. It’s typical place for average tourists. Europeans knowing Italian cuisine would skip this place. We were expecting much more.
Lovely place in little Italy. Especially the middle aged woman was so friendly and welcoming. In the beginning, I didn’t know where to eat in the area . She asked friendly- but not pushing too hard- if I want to eat here and where to sit. Service was great, food was beyond. Strong recommendation for this placeFood: 5/5
Service was amazing ! From the time we walked up everyone was extremely attentive! The food was sooooo good! Ordered the Penne Vodka, Calamari, lobster ravioli and the Bella vita salad! Presentation was nice and the portions were a great size !Food: 5/5
La Bella Vita, beautiful life. Italians really know their food. This place had very good food actually my daughter ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, I’m not really a big fan but that was in my 57 years THE best I have ever tasted. I ordered the linguini de fruti di mare it was also very good. Of course like you would imagine everything is over priced a $10-15 bottle of wine $49 but hey when am I going back to Little Italy in manhattan? I can’t tell you so go for it splurge and enjoy the food atmosphere and wine here at La Bella Vita we really enjoyed the time spent here with the familia. Ciao amicos!
This restaurant was busy for good reason! We ordered the hot antipasto mixed seafood dish, the carbonara, and the lobster ravioli. Food was tasty, presentation was nice, and portion sizes were good.Food: 4/5
This place was amazing! We walked up and down Little Italy trying to find some great food and this did not disappoint. The bruschetta started us off well, then the pappardelle alla bolognese for me and the pappardelle Alfredo with mushrooms for the wife. Would certainly recommend!
I had the pasta with meatballs…I finished most of it lol before the picture was taken but you kinda get an idea of what you get. But just so you know the food was really good and the service was on point! It’s a wonderful place and I’m glad they found us a seat right away.Food: 5/5
very yummy, super filling and very large portions for price. my friends i got the penne al la vodka, the fettuccine alfredo, and the fettuccine con meatballs and they were all really good! heavily recommendFood: 5/5
This place is one of the best places to dine in the city. It's a welcoming and comforting environment from the staff to the scenery. It's a must-try if you're traveling or live in the city.Food: 5/5
