Wow, I had heard so many great things about this restaurant, that my expectations were very high, well would you believe, that my first dining experience here exceeded my expectations!! First let me talk about the service, the staff is very helpful and gave me some suggestions, I was a solo diner, and most of the portions on the menu could easily feed two people. He suggested the combo with hummus, chicken, kebab, beef, kebab, and ground beef kebab. It also came with a foo salad as well as garlic sauce, hummus, tahini, and some other vegetables, and a vegetable skewer, as well as pita bread. The flavor of the beef was unlike anything I’d ever had in my life, and I’ve traveled to places like the Middle East, Pakistan, Bangladesh, dubai, the meet Here specifically the ground beef is something that dreams are made of. While I enjoyed the chicken and the beef/steak, I would much rather have ordered just three of the ground beef. A true triumph, and the salad was incredibly fresh, citrus, sour, and flavorful, and the pita bread was very soft. I think I might have to come back here such an amazing experience. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces here
Wonderful, first visit here. Our waitress, Mary, took great care of us and told us what to order. She suggested a sampling platter with some hummus, the most amazing whipped garlic sauce and fresh tahini. Everything was delicious, but the star was the kibbe. Probably the best I've ever had. The crust was so incredibly thin and filling truly succulent. The only downside was that the pita felt reheated and should be softer and fresher. But a great meal.
Awesome food and service. This was our first time visit. Highly recommend it. Serving is really big, we had left overs for dinner also for family of five.Food: 5/5
I had a wonderful experience at Al Ameer restaurant, hands down the best food in Detroit and Dearborn, MI! The restaurant was spotlessly clean, and the environment was lovely and welcoming. The staff’s behavior was amazing, and our server, Marry, was exceptional. She gave us the best recommendations and was so kind and attentive throughout our meal. Her perfect customer service made our visit even more enjoyable. I strongly recommend trying this place based on my experience, and I’m confident you’ll love it here too!
Not only was the food totally incredible, delicious, amazing, but it was SO MUCH FOOD for the price. Extremely worth it, I ate those leftovers for like two days straight. The waitress we had was an ABSOLUTE ANGEL and I'm her biggest fan. TIP YOUR SERVERS, Y'ALL!! <3 pictured: hummus, tabbouleh, roasted lambFood: 5/5
This is the most delicious Middle Eastern food I have had in North America. I come from Canada just to eat this amazing food. The bread is fresh, the meats are too perfect to describe in words, falafels are hot and crispy on the outside and the tabouleh is exactly how it’s supposed to be. My favourite is the beef shawarma but you really can’t go wrong with anything at this restaurant. Highly recommended!
Second time to dine in the Al Ameer and the food was great. I ordered the BBQ mix dish, rice with pulled meat, fries, hummus, salad and the Mango honey banana drink and everything was tasty. The service was great as Mary served us perfectly. Overall it is a higly recommended place to visit for Lebanese food lovers. Parking: Free parking for everybody
Server was a sweetheart and food was delicious! Kebbie with hashwi, lambs liver, fattoush, Al Ameer platter, hummus and bread, all was so flavorful and fresh and their garlic sauce is the shizzzzzFood: 5/5
Same great middle eastern food this place has for over 20 years , best kibbe naye in Detroit, great breakfast selection , this place is a must if you are visiting Detroit Vegetarian options: Huge vegetarian selection Parking: Free parking lot on site
Our server was very mean and totally ignored us whilst at this restaurant, she was literally stationed at one table and made us wait the entire time. I won’t go to this place again ever. Food was ok but it’s not worth the service at all. I’ve been to far better places with better service.Food: 3/5
