I really liked this little place. We stayed here twice and did not have any problems either time. Understand it is an older motel and could use a renovation but it’s in such a good location and a great value too it’s easy to overlook that. The only issue that we could see is that the way the heat is set up parts of the room could be cool (we stayed in November). The people were great and asked us each time if there were any problems or anything else we needed. It was fairly quiet too even though it sits alongside a busy road.

This please is awesome!!! We stayed in Amish Lantern Motel on our way back home as we were returning from Niagara, where we stayed in a nice, and expensive, 4-star hotel. Please trust me, Amish Lantern Motel was way much better that a 4-star hotel!!! It was super clean, conveniently located, and so on. The shower is awesome - the reason I am bringing this up is that in that 4-star hotel in Niagara, the shower could not be called 'a shower' - it was like someone was peeing on you. In Amish Lantern Motel, it was a like a real shower. AC in the room was perfect. The manager, the lady in the office, is amazing - very kind, welcoming and supportive.

I stayed here for 3 months while working in Maryland. It was quite, clean, no bugs, staff was nice. I would definitely stay again. The wifi kinda sucked tho.

DO NOT go to this place. Bathroon dirty, stain dirty courtain, I don't think it's been clean for ages, loose tiles. Flies and FLEAS. Unfortunately it was graded 4.3 stars I think is 0.43 starts.
