Awesome Hotel. Great location. Very helpful and kindly staff. The view is gorgeous, quiet and peaceful. All the amazing places to enjoy Amish experience are quite close. We love it!!

My fiancee and I called the hotel to see about using the hotel for our wedding. We really liked the idea of not going with a larger corporate hotel and the property appears to be nice. However, after speaking with the woman in charge of group reservations we realized they were not very accommodating. For starters my fiancee was told they knew that weekend would sellout regardless of our reservations...granted it is a holiday weekend and this hotel is small. You would think all business and money would be welcomed. Next, we were told they would only offer us a 20 room block...period. Well that did it, most weddings need more than 20 rooms so they were probably just trying to push our business away. Further, they offered a room rate way more expensive than any other weekend day and we are over a year out. Lastly, they would not even think of offering anything else to accommodate us besides a free breakfast which everyone gets anyway. Oh, they also want a list of everyone in each room so they make sure to charge for the extra people in each room. I guess we will be calling the larger chains where businesses welcome money and provide customer service.

Everything was peaceful in Lancaster.  Looking out our window we saw the snow laden field.  In the morning, we watched the buggies and the people walking.  The staff was friendly, hotel clean, furnishings - combination of Queen Ann and Tuscany.  We were near the Adult wing.  There is also a family wing.  I think that is really considerate.  The breakfast was amazing.. People must get the special egg breakfast, - ask for the "Ferhoodle".  When you order it, it will be made fresh , in front of you, and you will receive a  button.  We will be back again!

While not a 4 star hotel, it is very clean, they provide free full breakfast, free coffee, tea, and  juice 24 hours a day in the lobby/dining area. The staff are pleasant and helpful. It is located in the Heart of the Amish in Lancaster straddling Bird in Hand and Intercourse. I have stayed at many places in the area and this is the best of the lot actually located inside the Amish area.

Great place to stay in Amish country has a full delicious breakfast that is all you can eat rooms are spacious and comfortable also there is a restaurant next door short walk away
