The police officer that answered my call clearly did NOT care about the situation. He hung up on me several times, despite how polite I was. He even had the nerve to MOCK me as I asked for his help. Yes, He MOCKED me! I asked him if he could look in on a friend. My friend is disabled and he lives on the water. As we all know, Hurricane Sandy is the worst storm to ever hit NY. My friend lives right on the water. His back porch is a deck. Since I don't have this friend's address, I asked the officer if he could look up the friends address based on his land line phone number. The officer said that he's busy and that he could not do it. He was not too busy to argue with me though. I did not ask for the address, I just asked that they take a couple minutes to look it up- and check on the guy. This officer continued to refuse, and obviously does not care that there may be a DISABLED young man who is dead in his house. I have good friends that are cops, and I know that they're capable of looking up an address based on a phone number. I'm not one of those anti-cop types. I'm crying, I'm angry, and I'm amazed at how little this guy cared. So many people looking for jobs, and this guy, clearly does not want to do his. If we find out that my friend is dead, OFFICER JULIANO SHOULD LOSE HIS JOB. IMAGINE ASKING FOR HELP FOR A FRIEND, THEN GETTING MOCKED AND HUNG UP ON!!!!!
