Absolute bang for your buck. Clean rooms. Kind of charming in a cheap European hotel way. Pretty central location. Frankly, for the price I paid I'd have given it a 5-star rating if the water pressure in the shower wasn't abysmal. Seriously, if the water pressure were any less the water would be sucked up back into the shower head.

The receptionist wouldn't honor the price I found online. Which is fine I understand that kind of. Though I had the last persons dirty laundry, still in my room. Just a black sock, smelly though. I didn't contract any unknown diseases as far as I know and I was able to fall asleep so 3 out of 5 stars. Would have probably given 4 stars, but when hearing of the dirty clothes the receptionist just said, "Oh, that's rough."

I stayed one night with my family at the Amsterdam Hotel. Probably the worst night I could have ever imagined. The place seemed disorganized right from the beginning. Entering the hotel the person at the front desk did not seem like he knew what he was doing. I got two cards to enter my room, one didn't even work. The Air Conditioning unit didn't seem to work as I was very hot the entire night I stayed. The bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on might as well been sleeping on a rock. They give you one pillow per bed which was very hard as well. There are bed bugs and spiders at this hotel which is absolutely disgusting. You might think this place is cheap for a hotel but trust me it is not worth the price go to another hotel in the area. Don't say I didn't warn you...

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Could do better with Continental Breakfast; was almost out of food at 9:00am.
