Friendly and welcoming service. Warm and pleasant environment. I received helpful tips on how to maintain healthy hair. This was my first time coming to the salon and I had a wonderful experience. I will definitely be coming back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I haven’t been to a hair salon in about 7 years, I was a little skeptical going to one but I said why not....WRONG! I got so much heat damage from getting my hair straightened from this place. My hair wasn’t in the best shape, had couple of strands in the nape area of my hair with heat damage. Andrea the owner did my hair. I should’ve known when this lady used an hot comb AND a hair straightener and smelled my hair burning. She said “what you smelling is left over hair on the comb....heat is good the hair it dialate cuticles etc” blah blah blah....I went with it against everything in me. I wanted to cut my damage hair off, mind you my hair was waist length but straggly. I wanted to clean it off. She said she’s going to cut 3 inches off, this chick cut 6 INCHES off if not more....by the time I was done, I was above bra strap length hair. I was pissed but wth can I do abt it since it was already cut Nd hair grows back, it’s whatever. BUT then I washed my hair out after a couple weeks, Nd the WHOLE front and side of my hair had heat damage and full of straight pieces, mind you I have 4C hair. Before anybody say anything, I’m scared of heat so I didn’t put no additional heat in my hair after I left the hair salon. So upset I went Nd cut the straight pieces off, thinking I would be able to hide it. I definitely have to let it grow a little bit and big chop all my hair off and start over. STAY AWAY!!! JS

You know, I really wanted to like this salon. I went in for goddess braids with a French braid back and you would think it's performing surgery. The girl struggled like 6 times trying to get braids then they tried to do corn rows with hair in the back and pass it off, followed by the stylist giving me a flat bun that looked nothing like the picture I showed her. All while charging me $60!! Not worth the price if they don't know how to style hair. I think they are good at coloring and cutting that's it. Nice and clean, great atmosphere but if you want to actually have your hair styled anything semi complex I wouldn't bother!! Agh I'm so mad I could have done this mess way better myself.

Coming from Chicago, I can confidently say that I have never been taken care of this well at previous hair salons. Andrea and Brittany are beyond educated on all types of hair which speaks volumes in itself. Personally, I felt stress free, comfortable, and relieved once my appointment was completed due to the fact that my hair came out how I invisioned at the end of the appointment. Friendly, receptive, and observant are just a few characteristics both Andrea and Brittany displayed at my first visit. I HIGHLY recommend this salon to women in the area who are looking for a lifelong connection and trustworthy / excellent services done!
