I purchased a fixer and one of the items on my list was to repair my chimney from the roof up.  The mortar was crumbling so the bricks were becoming loose.  He came quickly to repair the chimney and finished the job surprisingly quickly.  Fast forward not even a year later, I have a horrible leak in my chimney that has ruined the moldings around the interior of the fireplace.  I called to ask him to come take a look at it ASAP, and he said he would be there within that week.  He never showed.  I called another individual to come take a look and they found the problem right away: he said it looked like they just slapped the chimney cap on, as if they were in a hurry.  The seal was practically non-existent and the cap was bent.  He repaired the issue and several rainy days later, no more leak.  A good tradesman stands by his work and follows through on commitments; he did not.  I would not recommend Anderson Masonry.
