Beech Tree Custom Cabinets provided a beautify and sustainable custom cabinet solution to our kitchen remodel, at prices well below what others charge for lesser quality. My husband loves the function built into the design and I love the beauty of the bamboo and the sustainability of the product. The design process was painless, delivery was quicker than we expected, and the icing on the cake was being able to support a Washington business. We could not be happier with the end result and will use Beechtree in any future projects.

We were originally considering going with conventional cabinets. The limited choices and questionable origins of materials gave us second thoughts. When we first contacted Beech Tree, we assumed it was a pipe dream—that we’d be priced right out of that option. To our great surprise, the price difference between what we’d been considering and what Beech Tree could do was not that great. The quality difference, however, was enormous. Each step of the way, the guys at Beech Tree were thoughtful, responsive to our needs and requests, and went out of their way to make sure we were delighted with the final product. They even invited us to visit the workshop, to see the process and tools and watch our cabinets come together. We were impressed. Our carpenters were impressed, too. As the pieces arrived, the carpenters swooned over the quality of the alder, the beautiful staining, and, more importantly, the numerous structural and installation challenges that Beech Tree’s designs had already taken into consideration. Our house was built in 1917, and its got some unusual shape to it. Beech Tree took all this into consideration and more, so that at each step of installation the carpenters were discovering new thoughtful innovations that made the Beech Tree cabinets work better—not just during installation, but for the lives of the cabinets (which I think will far outstrip the life of this house!) We opted for the “flush” cabinet fronts, which required that the milling and fine-tuning of the size and shape of the cabinet doors in relation to their frames be painstakingly precise. The results are fantastic. That detail is one of many that show the mastery and finesse that Beech Tree puts into their work. Simply, we love our cabinets. We knew that the cabinets we chose would be, in some sense, the “jewel” of our new kitchen, and for that, Beech Tree was the right choice. Thanks!

As we look back on the process of our major kitchen remodel, it’s clear that the decisions around cabinetry were the most critical in creating the space we wanted. We live in a 1918 craftsman. Nic and the crew at Beech Tree designed and built cabinetry that fit the era of the home while also providing modern design elements and conveniences. They used reclaimed Douglass Fir from an avalanche in Oregon and re-purposed an old butcher block into an island counter-top. Working with Beech Tree was a pleasure. Their creativity, communication and delivery were extraordinary. Like many other homeowners embarking on a kitchen remodel, we were tempted to go with manufactured cabinets and are so happy we chose to work with Beech Tree instead. Not only do we get the satisfaction of supporting a local business that uses sustainable practices, but we also have unique, beautiful cabinets that are the heart and soul of our new kitchen. Thanks Beech Tree!!!

Our project consists of builtin bathroom, laundry and kitchen cabinetry and freestanding furniture. We are very pleased with the quality of the materials and construction and the attention to detail. Nic an his associates are very professional and gave us all the attention we needed to get the desired outcome. We also were pleased to work with a firm that cares about the environment.

Beech Tree Building Company consistently listens - and truly takes to heart - what clients are trying to communicate about their wants and needs in their furniture - or cabinetry. They create just what the client has described. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are superior. For a person, or company, looking for an expert in green building and production.... Beech Tree is the only choice! I highly recommend them to all of my clients and friends.
