Horrible quality of nail care.

Having just moved to the area, the first 5 things I look for are a doctor, dentist, grocery store, Friday night restaurant, and nail salon.  My husband and I went to Kobe's to eat, and our server's nails were beautifully done.  When asked, she didn't hesitate to share her awesome experiences with Angel Nail's near Mellow Mushroom.  She told me that they even have polish that changes color when you are hot or cold.  Being a server in the past, I know they know what they are talking about, so I went there on a Saturday to see for myself.  The staff (many women and one man) were all very nice and efficient, and my mani/pedi was amazing.  They talked to me just enough to get the info they needed to give me what I wanted and also so that I felt like a human being, but not too much that I wouldn't be able relax.  I don't like to talk a lot since I do it for a living 8-10 hours a day.  They even told me about the new polish they had for Valentine's Day that was scented like roses and changed color from red to pink depending on your body temperature.  It's been almost 3 weeks and the polish is still holding strong.  Needless to say, I was very happy with the service and will be back every few weeks like clockwork. VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER!

I have never written a review before online, but feel so strongly about my recent experience with Angel Nail that I feel I need to caution others who may be considering giving them their business.  I called the salon on New Years Day to make an appointment.  Was a bit surprised that they were open but a lady answered the phone by saying, "Angel Nail," and I made an appointment for the afternoon.  When I reached the salon, it was closed and all lights were out.  I called the number that was on the salon door and the same lady with whom I spoke to make the appointment answered.  When I explained that we had an appointment and were waiting at the salon, she acted as if I had the wrong number and explained that she did not know anyone at Angel Nail.  I knew that I did not have the wrong number as it was online and also printed on the salon door where I was now standing. Nevertheless, I hung up, rechecked the number and called again.  Once again she denied knowing what Angel Nail was, saying she had a new phone and something must be wrong with her number.  When I questioned her and suggested that her voice strongly resembled that of the lady with whom I made my appointment, she answered by saying that maybe their voices sounded alike. (?)  About an hour later, my brother called the same number from a different phone and at first was told he had a wrong number.  He apologized and called back a few minutes later.  The second time he called, the same lady answered, introduced herself as Vicki Lee, and he successfully made an appointment the next day for a manicure.  I am confused and disappointed as to why a small business owner in Peachtree City would blatantly lie to a customer. When I called the first time, if I were told that she was closed on New Years Day I would have understood and most likely have made an appointment for the next day.  The lying just was not necessary.  With so many nail salons in Peachtree City, I hope customers will be able to find a salon run by honest people and not give Angel Nail their business.
