Animal Care Center of Topeka (formerly Highland Park Animal Clinic) has been open since 1986, serving the Highland Park community in all their pets needs!
-Dr Leon Conner graduated from Kansas State Veterinary School in 1988, and after completing an internship in Pennsylvania, took over the practice in 1990. He treats both small and exotic animals, with a special interest in ultrasonography. Dr. Conner is also an active part of our community, involving himself in the Kiwanis Club of Southwest Topeka, which addresses the needs of the young and old. He is the past treasurer of the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, and current president of the Topeka Veterinary Medical Association.
-Dr Naomi Lavelle received her veterinary degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA in 2013. Upon graduation, she received the Lifelong Learning Award from the California Veterinary Medical Association and was nominated for the President's Society Award. After completing an internship with Animal Care Center of Topeka in December 2012, she was hired on in May 2013. Her veterinary career includes experience with all kinds of animals, from large to small to reptilian and exotics.
