I cannot fathom what sort of money hungry scam artists would turn away a pet in need because we couldn’t afford the $100 before they even touched him plus whatever other tests they had to run. 
The man at the front desk was at least up front with us that it was going to be expensive, but he was also very rude. 
The quad cities deserve a better emergency vet than this, just because they are the only place open on a Sunday doesn’t mean they need to charge so much.

Had to bring my grand dog here on Christmas Eve and this place was wonderful!  They were upfront with price and very compassionate and professional.  The QC is so lucky to have this Emergency Vet Clinic for after hours care!   Thank-You to Dr Klauer, Eric & staff for taking such good care of Rizzo!

I've been an animal health and nutritional consultant for 28 years. I've been here with my dog and with my friend to take hers ... STAFF & VET(S) ... I wish I could find a better way to describe the experiences I've had so that what I write is not quickly dismissed! If you are able to determine that there's something a bit off with your pet, even slightly ... get them into your usual vet!!! The real problem is that at times we tell ourselves we don't see anything wrong or tell ourselves I'll see how they are in a couple days! If you can get your pet into your regular vet, DO IT!!! .... before you are left with no choice but to take your pet here!!! With complete and honest sincerity ... this would be the best advice I could provide to you and for you to access the highest level of care for your pet!!! Kendra Helfter Howell

If I could, I would rate this place a total 0! The fact that they are so dishonest to the families of our loving dogs is extremely hurtful. They are definitely money hungry myself and others would call them if they went threw what I had gone threw and my 15 year old daughter this almost past week. what others might have and might almost go threw if we don't put a stop to this animal emergency center for the hurtful losses we are going threw because these employees are not up front.

My dog contracted leptospirosis and we had to bring him in.  The entire staff, doctors and especially Sam were exceptional. I had two give a 3 based around one employee who was put out to sign us in ONE MINUTE early and the overall attitude was rude, cold and insensitive.  Great care for my dog, great care and concern from the actual med staff...awful attitude from THE one employee i needed to be warm and inviting.  5 star care 0 star reception.
