Animal hospital of Padre Island is without reservation the most professional and ethically sound animal medical origination here in Corpus Christi. If you live down town this practice is more than worth the drive. Dr. Kresser leadership is second to none, reminiscent of those I have encountered in aviation. She knows her profession and implements flawlessly. Her staff is compassionate while remaining impeccably clear minded and competent. Those on here with negative reviews are anecdotal at best with many variables to be considered and subject to much scrutiny. You can quibble over price for various procedures but the ultimate value is unparalleled. If you have any concerns, speak with the Doc first hand and judge for yourself. If you would like to hear my personal experiences please contact me directly and I will be happy to share my 7 year story with this practice. I do not give a full positive rating lightly.

HORRIBLE! Fled hurricane six hours away. My 12 yr old dog couldn't move his back from the trip. Saw vet in Lampasas Texas on Saturday who gave my dog a shot, anti inflammatory pills for 10 days. Walked into office yesterday and BEGGED her to just refill them and I'd pay a visit plus the pills so I didn't have to torment my senior dog by making him jump into a high Jeep again. And she REFUSED since he hadn't been seen for a year. Ridiculous as I had the contact info from the vet in Lampasas for her to call and verify. I found another vet who helped me and got me the meds my poor old Dalmatian needs to walk. I'm done with this very over priced clinic. I'd rather drive over the bridge than come back. Seems she only caters to the wealthy. Disgusting! This was a category 4 Hurricane! She could have had some empathy!

Dr.Kresser is a great veterinarian. Staff is very friendly, helpful.
