Because they CARE! They will try everything to make your pet feel better and get well, if it's a simple diagnosis or a complicated compound illness or injury. They explain everything to you also but ultimately you have the say so about your pets treatment

Dr Garrett has been our vet since the 80's. He is always kind and considerate. He really cares about his patients and the family.

They should really hire staff who don't answer the phone like they hate their job. Professionalism goes a long way.

Was a loyal customer for years. I got my puppy spayed here, though, and they left her staples in because she was squirming while they were trying to take them out. They said she'd be fine and the skin would grow over. Then when I called back because they were really bothering my puppy, they were going to charge me again to put her under to remove the last staples, even though it was their fault they were left. A few months later I woke up to my dog unresponsive and having seizures. I took her to the emergency vet first, and once Everhartopened we called to take her over there. We were assured that they would have everything prepared. We took her over (barely breathing, now off of IVs, and still unresponsive) and had to wait for over an hour while Dr. P casually talked to another client about good cat food right in front of us. Once we were finally taken back, they told us that she probably wasn't going to make it because of how long it had been since the seizures started. Dr. P was very rude, didn't care that my dog was literally dying in my arms right in front of her for an hour plus, and tried to blame me for how long I had to wait. I have never been so disgusted with a vet in my life. My dog died that day, and there is no doubt in my mind that she would've had a chance if she had been taken care of properly.
