Nice clean establishment, gelato are smooth and lots of variety although I wish it was slightly sweeter. Serving size not bad for the price, especially for NYC. Service is good and staff are friendly. Unfortunately bathroom is out of service. They have some dine in seats but they tend to be taken.Food: 4/5
Absolutely delicious spot for gelato with tons of inventive flavors that you can’t find anywhere else. Service is super friendly and allows many samples. Store doesn’t get too crowded either and there is some calming seating. Unfortunately, as a longtime fan of Anita, this location’s gelato was not as good, as it was overly sweet. Overall, however, would recommend.
This place had the BEST gelato! It was so yummy and was our lunch! All the staff was so kind and patient. They also gave extra of those crunchy biscuits, and they tasted amazing! Overall, was a fantastic experience and loved it! Will be coming back soon for sure Food: 5/5
My fiancé and I visited Anita La Mamma del Gelato last week during a trip to NYC. Based on the line out the door, you'd think it was very good gelato. Unfortunately, neither of us really enjoyed it. It tastes very artificial. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and very nice staff that will let you try samples of any flavor you request. They also give you a very generous portion. But overall, it is a tourist trap. You'd be better off getting gelato from Eataly.
Anita is the best and this new location near Times Square will no doubt soon have lines around the block. Look for the green dots -- they mean dairy-free. Nobody does dairy-free gelato like Anita. The Dark Chocolate and the Chocolate Cookie are insane.Food: 5/5

Third location in NYC of this marvelous gelato! As always, love the ambiance here, the service, super generous with the amount of gelato you get per serving. Highly recommend! But expect long lines at this location!Food: 5/5
Do yourself a flavor ant take yourself to this gelato restaurant for desert or even a meal. Delitful, yummy, cold and refreshing. Anita the Mommy of Gelato meaning of the business name using Google translate and urban vernacular of course but not withstanding…the Mother of Gelato nows how to deliver! Free samples are available but please, don’t be a “brain freeze” and sample everything and leave…not cool! Ha! Love the illustrations and word useage comparing gelato and such…it’s my subliminal way to help you say llets go for gelato! Yes, my African Grey fancies the Coffe Mark as helpful and follow. I’d like to start a podcast in my travels so I need to see if there is interest
I've sought after the best gelato in NYC, and this wins by a landslide. Prefect texture, bold flavor, constantly rotating delicious flavors in a fun atmosphere. Yes, the music is loud. But you're in Times Square, so you're probably used to it by now. 5 stars all around.
I just got delivery from here and there was a long black hair in my ice cream. I have bleach blonde hair so obviously wasn't my own. Had to trash the entire carton. Waste of $25
