Very rude behaviour by the moped rental staff. They did not mention the return time of the rental and charged $180 for extra 30 mins. The mopeds itself are the cheap ones. Very ridiculous and arrogant people, i will NEVER REPEAT.

Awesome place to rent mopeds in Wisconsin. This is the perfect way to explore Washington Island. These are high quality Yamaha mopeds and one of the premier places in the Midwest to ride. Most of the roads are 35 MPH so it is totally safe and fun.

my husband and I read the brochure about ferry and moped rentals. we were not as interested in the guided tour. we had planned to share a moped and explore the island ourselves. we discovered upon arrival that there is No sharing a moped. we were still going to shell out the cash for another bike just to find out that they Do Not Rent to anyone other than experts. they test your driving abilities without practice and with very little explanation. we were quickly turned away and told we could not rent a bike...at all. so our trip to washington island was a complete waste. they had us fill out paperwork, fit helmets while the guided ride along tour left. so we had to sit and wait for the next ferry. waste of time and money
