All the employees are amazing, super friendly and respectful. I went there today to take my driver's test for the first time and I passed my first time. make sure you have enough practice behind the wheel and you'll pass. I'm 27 turning 28 in a week there is no rush. When you're ready you're ready. I went in today super nervous and the guy testing me told me a few jokes and made me laugh and made me feel better. It's mostly neighborhoods you drive through. I recommend this place to everyone and for those who are nervous about taking there test relax take deep breaths and you'll get through it. Good luck.

I dont know why u guys think this place is great? Just today i went in take drivers test n this old grouchy dude screamed at me nearly the entire trip.... However taking written test here was a more friendly experience.

Very good, friendly experience. After several days of booking appointments and cancelling schedules at other locations I decided to walk in for my road test. The instructor, a lady was very strong on the rules but friendly as well. When I cleared every task/instruction she said you did good which motivated me and increased my self-confidence. I recommend this place to anyone. I passed on my first try.
THEY ARE STRONG ON THE RULES BUT THEY MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE BEHIND THE STEERING RATHER THAN FRIGHTEN, DISCOURAGE. THEY'RE HAPPY TO SEE YOU SUCCEED. GREAT TEAM.

Generally when you think of the DMV, you just straight to Marge Simpson's spiteful sisters moving at a snail's pace to renew a Springfieldian's driver's license because they have the power to do so. They're the DMV! It was with that mindset I paid a visit to the Anoka DMV Licensing branch. Right away, I could tell this wasn't my usual visit to the pit of hell.

Instead of making visitors wait in a long line only to be told what they needed to do, visitors were instructed to fill out a form, THEN get in line. My wait was minimized considerably because of this, and both my wife and I were in and out within 20 minutes, and that included applying for, and providing documentation for a new type of driver's license. I had no idea any facet of the DMV could move that quickly! In addition, the workers were friendly and helpful, which made the experience surprisingly pleasant. 

If you're needing to renew your driver's license or apply for a new one, check out this location. It's worth your (lack of) time.

In and out in about 45 minutes for a new MN driver license, middle of the day on a Wednesday.  Good customer service, and they do have an efficient process if you are prepared and patient.
