Not impressed. I went for a late lunch this weekend. My husband and I ordered the avocado toast (a new menu addition). The food came messily prepared on the plate and it looked as if the plate was even dirty on the edge. The avocado toast comes with two poached eggs and the eggs were over cooked and basically hard boiled. As a frequent constumer of Anthony David's I expect much more. I have not been happy the past few times and am not sure I will be returning. The place looked messy and not very clean. There were flies all over. I was so disturbed that nothing was done about the flies. Who wants to eat with bugs flying around the restaurant.

Never even got to eat there. I arrived put my name and number down. They said they would call when a table was ready and it would be about 20 min. After about 30 min I went in to ask the status and they had my name crossed out and said oh we didn't call you and verified the number. I said no call. They said we will sit you right away wait here we need to clean that table. I waited and then saw them seat another couple in the table they told us was for us. I just walked out frustrated with the whole experience and went to a very yummy and courteous restaurant around the corner Amanda's. They called me an hour later, I guess my table was finally ready. I did not pick up.

Nice place, great service but you have to know what to order. The lamb was awesome but the squid gnocchi was a big disappointment.
