Not my first time here but was the first time for brunch. My family and I enjoyed our food very much! Anthony is always present, making sure everyone is taken care of. The waitress was attentive and upbeat and the food was amazing. A perfect cozy local spot to stop in and eat. Indoor and outdoor seating was available.
Went to Friday evening dinner with friends and we had an amazing time. Our food was absolutely delicious....everything from the appetizers, entrees and finally the desserts Banana pudding and cheesecake!! were amazing! Owner/staff were very attentive to all of the customers. Great way to relax and enjoy/treat yourself after a long work week!
Definitely a must go! Phenomenal service and wonderful food!!! My husband and I’s first time and it was unforgettable. I loved my choice of pasta and dessert was great! Will come back tomorrow for National Cheesecake day!!!
Immaculate service and vibes. I went to Anthony’s cheesecake, a family owned restaurant in Bloomfield, for a birthday BRUNCH with friends and our waitress was tremendously friendly, attentive and patient. There was a LOVELY chimichurri sauce that was paired with my dish, which was a garlic shrimp and egg breakfast pupusa a tortilla stuffed with various toppings; this one in particular was stuffed with beans and cheese topped with shrimp. The breading on the pupusa was a bit much but overall the dish was good. I also devoured a side of delicious breakfast potatoes which is usually unaccompanied with peppers and onions but which they added, to our immense pleasure. We ordered a diverse assortment of foods including the lump crab, chicken and waffles, cookie butter waffles, a smoked kielbasa and egg skillet, etc. all of which my friends loved!!! Everything was aesthetically pleasing and tasty!!! The staff was VERY accommodating on so many occasions, first with the evolving number of guests and with keeping the food hot for a member of our party. The kitchen was also very accommodating as they allowed certain adjustments that allowed the dish to be vegetarian/pescatarian friendly.I also received a tiramisu cheesecake with a personalized message happy birthday Sherley which my waitress took the time to write and decorate which I appreciated greatly. Lastly, Anthony’s demonstrated altruism by collecting food and other items for st.Huberts animal hospital. The donations will go to pets displaced by the hurricane in areas of Puerto Rico and Florida. The setup, as displayed in the pictures, was very nice and heartwarming to see. Lovely service, food and vibes at this restaurant. AND THEY HAVE CHEESECAKE!!!!!!!!
Super friendly staff that does everything to make sure that you are having a very enjoyable experience. Everything we ordered for dinner was absolutely delicious and prepared meticulously. Then you have to save room because the desserts are even better. This was our first time there and we will surely be going back very often.
Five star experience. We had a family dinner and the service was immaculate! I had the salmon franchise. It tastes of Italy. Beautiful restaurant and beautiful people. 10/10 would come back again and again.
The food was delicious, but you may have to add more seasoning to taste! Who doesn’t love a nice brunch spot though! Overall, it was a good experience. Mimosas always make things better.
My bride and I found Anthony’s about a year ago. It is our new GO TO place. For either a nice relaxing Saturday night dinner or Sunday Brunch. We live in NYC and make the drive. Yes, the food is THAT GOOD. I am not sure where to begin. Or End. Anthony is a sweetheart of a person. His staff is always friendly and courteous. Now….the food. O My “F”ing Lord. I get something different every time we go. And it is better then the last thing I ate there. As far as DESSERTS go, HOLY MOLY!!!! INSANE!! I keep saying that I want to go to this joint and order dessert for Appetizers, Dinner, Dessert AND take out!!!
I've been a customer of Anthony's for some years now and I love it! The food is always good and the menu changes keep it interesting. It's nice to have new options at a place you love. Their cheesecake, of course, is AMAZING. they always have new, fun flavors. It's a small place but that adds to its charm. Definitely get reservations especially around holidays!
someone recommended Anthony's for brunch to us a couple of months ago. we're now addicted and it's our Sunday morning ritual. we haven't missed a Sunday yet. everyone who works there is so nice and they completely compliment the delicious out-of-this-world food. we're working our way down the menu and also look forward to trying dinner one day. don't forget to look at the specials! we've been treated well since day one and have noticed that other patrons receive the same excellent treatment. obviously we want to be favorites, but it's nice to see that everyone is valued. ps - they are super great to kids. I'm not creative, so this review word for word is also on Yelp!
