Hated it!!! Management the worst. Food awful, late, cold, and unappealing. When issues brought up they are defended instead of correct. Party of 15 gratuity included and poor service. Beans straight out the can no flavor at all. Apple boiled to a pulp. Shrimp freezer burned. Pizza overcooked with minimal cheese and sauce just bread. Etc I could go but why. I will never go back. Racist manager asked us not to return because we were not satisfied. We spent over $365 and no one ate the food. Stay clear. Exterior looks fine but don't be deluded. Absolute worst.

*Staff is super awesome and friendly!* This diner is so beautiful inside I was impressed. The booth seats are really nice. I had the veggie panini3 sandwich pieces! and it was very good, fries were so tasty and seasoned perfectly. TBH I think this was the first time I've seen waffle fries offered at a diner so it was a nice change! Will definitely be back

Love this diner not only for their food and great service but especially that they can handle large groups.   Great selection of breakfast foods, salads, pizza , sandwiches and more.  Definite a must for foodies looking for a great Jersey diner.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes

Okay so State Street Grill. I truly enjoyed my experience at this establishment. My Lady and I went to have a nice simple Lunch. The food was very good. My lady got a Burger with fries. I think it was a Jack Daniels Burger Not sure of the Name. She stated it was good the only thing is the coleslaw was not good. She felt it had a weird taste to it. Other than that she enjoyed her food. She had a smoothie with her food which was a Strawberry Peach Smoothie 10/10.  Now for my food I had the "Authentic" Shrimp Taco's which were pretty much plain because that is how I like them. The only issue with my Taco's was the lime was under the cheese so it dried out my lime. I didn't like how they gave me four Taco's, however one taco was made in a flour tortilla when it should have been four  corn tortilla's...if you ran out you should let the customer know...not just give the customer what you have left.  I also had fries which were very good. I had a normal soda so nothing to write home about.  Now I have this place a 3 star because of the Coleslaw and the Taco's were to be  Authentic Mexican Taco's with the corn tortilla however I got a mixture. Plus the flies were a bit much around the table.  Over all the experience was good the place is nice for groups or just a couple. You can talk without yelling across the table. The wait is not bad at all. We walked in and got seated. Our waitress was amazing!. She was very understanding to how I wanted my food and got it right with no issues!. She was very attentive to her table's!. I enjoyed her very pleasant!. This is a nice place I would recommend you go eat there.

What I want to know is why is my water cup the size of a pepper bottle...like literally a sip and it's gone. Yall need to get bigger cups other than that the food was really good. I also had the Topicolada smoothie...I want to go back just to get another smoothie  it's so delicious!Food: 5/5

Disgusting! I ordered a buffalo  chicken wrap and hated it. The breading for the chicken was so moist and soggy it made it wrap disgusting. It was not crispy at all. There was no blue cheese, which I chose as an option so I was overwhelmed with buffalo sauce. There was basically no lettuce or tomatoes. What was there was old and wilted. I tried to force myself to eat it b/c I was starving and gagged and how bad it tasted.  The fries were soggy as well. A complete waste of money. I'm usually the one that will eat ANYTHING, but I just couldn't. I won't say don't order from them, just check your food before you leave.

The food taste is fine but the price is ridiculous for the amount of food I received. I ordered the shrimp fajita meal and the vegetable to meat ratio is just disrespectful. Please if you are going to sell a plate full of veggies with a kids side shrimp do not charge 20 dollars for it.

We went last night to get dessert after the bakery we wanted to go to in Montclair was closed. We couldn’t get the dessert that we wanted because they didn’t have ice cream yes ice cream is on the menu. So we both got the waffle topped with strawberry’s and whipped cream. I got a side of turkey bacon with mine. The waffles were HORRIBLE! They were super dry and very overcooked. I was shocked. How do you ruin a waffle?! There was no butter on them although there should have been. I mean they were disgusting. Syrup didn’t make them better. I took two bites, ate my turkey bacon and left. $30 wasted. My waitress was a sweetheart though.

I stopped here in a rush to get something to eat ,not only was my food delicious, but the overall ambience of the restaurant was welcoming and very family friendly
