Thank you for this delicious piece of elephant skin. The nice dry texture of the burnt cheese really adds a taste of NY style. This pizza is an exact representation of a nice big bowl of captain crunch with no berries I hope you enjoyed my small donation of 5.56 cents and 1 $ tip..
Good pizza for our group. Only problem was that we had a surprise ice cream birthday cake in the car, for one of our members. After a 50 minute wait, the cake had started to melt.
Typically they are on point. But today I ordered through Uber eats and specifically asked for no green peppers on my cheese steak and that's the only thing on it! No onions or mushrooms just green peppers!!! I hate green peppers. So I called them and the chic who answered the phone said take it up with UberEats..I then asked to speak to a manager and she said that there was not one. She did say it was their fault. So Uber eats refunded my money but I'm out a cheese steak!!! Anthonys should have offered a replacement since ultimately it was their fault!!! And the garlic bread was a hoagie roll with cheese on one side hardly toasted. You guys are a pizza joint you have pizza dough make some real garlic bread how hard is that. Come on guys you can do better.
i am a delivery driver and actively avoid this restaurant because of how slow and unapproachable the staff is. Every order always takes ages to complete and the staff provides little to no acknowledgment or communication when you arrive. only order from here if time is no issue for you Parking: good luck finding a place to park too. even the lot behind the building is full up most the time.
Ordered through Seamless. The order arrived slightly early, which I was excited about… until I opened it and found a third of the order missing. Called the restaurant, and they claimed the driver rushed out without the missing pieces. They couldn’t reach the driver and said they would send one of their own delivery drivers if they Seamless driver didn’t return and that they would call us with a status update. An hour later, no update, and no delivery. My fiancé drove to the restaurant at that point because we really wanted the missing food we paid for. Of course, the driver showed up while he was gone… no apology from her or from the restaurant, and no explanation as to why they did not call to tell us it was on its way finally, as they assured us they would. And the restaurant did nothing to make things right - could have easily thrown in something extra for the hassle. I’ll think twice before ordering from here again. I don’t want to do business with a restaurant doesn’t care about correcting mistakes. Edit: Gave Anthony’s the benefit of the doubt and ordered again through GrubHub. For the second time in a row, part of my order was missing - this time the entire pasta dish ordered for our daughter. I called the restaurant and spoke to a very nice, apologetic gentleman who had the missing item in his hand and said the driver left without it… again. And they were too slammed to send their own delivery driver out for us, although we live only a few minutes down the road. If drivers do frequently run out without grabbing the entire order, which apparently happens regularly, it seems like the restaurant should do something about it — keep the order behind the counter and personally hand it to the drivers? At the very least, they need to do more to make it right with the customer I was told they would give me something to compensate next time, but that doesn’t really help put food on our kid’s plate tonight, when I was counting on a dish for her. Maybe I’ll try calling the restaurant directly next time, since the food is always good, but it’s a shame that they can’t figure out how to properly arrange pickup with third party delivery drivers… most establishments don’t have such a habitual problem with this.
This place has upgraded to the upmost degree. The pizza was on point, they even had beef patties with cheese that didn’t disappoint. In my experience it’s always been counter service come and seat yourself… But this handsome young man Perry greeted us at the door and took care of us like we were his family. Had a few Modelo‘s, watched the game with my kids and family, went home stuffed. What more could you ask for? What was supposed to be a lazy evening turned into one of our best outings this year I highly recommend Anthony’s pizza for anyone who values exceptional customer service and great food.
Honestly, as somebody who was born and raised in New York, this pizza is subpar in comparison. By that I mean, I was better off going to Papa John’s up the street from me and saving myself gas. My main problem was the absolute trash customer service that I received all I’m gonna say is if you are going to own a restaurant you can be somewhat polite to the people and the customers. I walked in, and nobody helped me mind you I was picking up a Grubhub order. The food was not ready at the time that it said it was going to be ready. Upon giving me my order, the woman throws it down on the counter points at It looks at me and just says “you” I guess that was my signal that that was my order. 0/10 experience and I will not be going back. Vegetarian options: And if you use any app like GrubHub or DoorDash to make your order, please please please note that they do not have an option to add toppings. You have to ask them in the special instructions.
Walked in to see 2 employees arguing. 1 guy began our order, but I didn’t have a menu, so he walked away. We asked other guy if we could dine in. We sat and waited 15 minutes for a menu and to give our drink irdrr. Waited 30 minutes for our food. Ordered appetizer of calamari, received 10 pieces about 2 inches in diameter, paid $10. $1 A PIECE! WTH. Then, we got charged $1.99 for TAP WATER. Waiter corrected the water charge. But small sub and pitiful calamari cost $23, and wasn’t even that good tasting. NEVER GOING BACK
My twin nieces and I popped in and definitely not disappointed! They got mozzarella sticks, calamari a cheese calzone, and white pizza as I got the antipasto salad, Italian wedding soup and a meat lovers stromboli added mushrooms everything was delicious Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
My family ordered a pizza online. The pizza was $18. The mark up was $39.87. They used a third party who then used door dash. The pizza arrived late and cold with rubbery gritty cheese instead of hot and stringy cheese like it is supposed to be hot. It was very disappointing. I called for a refund and was told they are not held accountable after their third party picks the pizza up. I was directed to call Chow Now who them placed me on hold for over 15 minutes. Then I was told Door Dash refuses to refund my money. Then I called Door Dash myself and was only hold for another 15 minutes while they routed me back to Anthony’s. Anthony’s said the were give a partial refund of $5! Are you kidding me? I just spent $40 and I can either waste more time on my day off get in a hot car waste gas money to come bring them back their cold pizza? The whole reason we ordered a pizza online is because we do not want to have to drive anywhere today. The fact that their is no real accountability or guarantee we get a hot pizza after spending almost $40 is insane. They would rather loose me as a costumer, loose my mother, my daughter and both of my sister’s business rather than refund my money or comp me a pizza, is bad business. We are a pizza living family who orders out all the time. They have now lost five costumers. We will no longer be spending money at Anthony’s Pizza or using Door Dash or Chow Now.
