Definitely one of the best Korean Fried Chicken Spots in Orlando. I would say this place is very similar to Chi Kin but their chicken is juicer. But Chi Kin also has better sauce options in my opinion. The only think I don’t like about this place is that it’s right on East Colonial, so traffic is really bad. I would also recommend coming here in the morning because there’s usually a 1 hour wait at night.
I honestly had higher hopes for this place. It wasn't bad, don't get me wrong, but it could've been better. It's in a busy part of the downtown-ish area. Luckily we found street parking right on the side of the building. We came pretty much right when it opened, us and a couple of other customers. The wait took a while, but everything came out fresh. We got 8 soy garlic and 8 cheese powder boneless chicken bites, and fries. The pricing at first seemed high, but the portion size for food was a lot. Worth the cost. The minimum pieces of chicken is 8 and you can't get half and half flavors unfortunately. The flavors were good, chicken crunchy, but the quality of chicken honestly wasn't my favorite. They also used brown meat chicken and there was either a layer of fat or uncooked batter in between. It just didn't look appealing. You barely noticed it eating it though. If it was all white meat, and without whatever fat or batter that was, it would've been amazing.
We were so excited for BB.Q to come to Orlando, we actually drove from Davenport to have dinner on opening day. Let me just say they did not disappoint, there was communication while waiting for our food and great customer service. We got five different wings sauces, fried dumplings, fries and their steamed rice. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, the chicken was perfectly crispy. We will definitely be coming back!
Called ahead and ordered takeout since I saw they closed at 3 but we've been dying to try it! Got there and was greeted by a sweet worker. They boxed up our chicken and dumplings we got the original golden and the secret spicy. It was soooo delicious! Perfectly breaded, not too thick and it was crispy. The fried dumplings were good too. We will definitely be back to try other flavors.
The chicken was tender and batter was thin, but it tasted like the oil they fried in was old and needed to be changed. Also, the secret spicy sauce was a little on the too sweet side. The original lacked some flavor. Prices were reasonable. There is a wait for food, but they make things to order, so that's expected. Service was friendly.
BBQ Chicken is definitely going to be my go to Korean fried chicken in Orlando! I came here for the first time on a Sunday evening with a couple friends. It was pretty busy but we were still able to get a seat. Contrary to some other reviews, I didn't think that the wait was too long considering how busy they were and the quality of the food. But I wouldn't expect to be in and out really quickly. We ordered the teokbokki, the secret spicy wings, and the mala spicy boneless wings. The chicken was really crispy and flavorful!! I absolutely loved the mala spice chicken, and the secret spicy is good if you want something that's both sweet and spicy. Also was really impressed by the teokbokki, it was spicy and definitely better than any other teokbokki I've had in Orlando.
First of all, no question on the taste. Period, I was very satisfied. They were good, all my family loved it. Now I don’t have to drive 8 hours to Duluth in Atlanta for this chicken. Lol~ but they having a shortage on workers. Dining in experience is not so great due to getting too laud, ceiling were vaulted so it is like speaker box or concert hall. however we were just glad that we could grab a seat and have that chicken right there before it cools off. No regret driving from Tampa. Loved it.
Sooo good! Best Korean fried chicken in the area. The soy garlic wings were on point with flavor and crunchiness. We arrived on a Friday night and were told the chicken would take 1 hour and 20 minutes to come out. This was a deal breaker for many parties who chose to walk out and eat elsewhere. I had already driven here from far so I was committed to seeing it through. I’m giving it 5 stars because they recently opened and the food is good but there’s a couple of things that could improve. There’s no music so the ambiance is nonexistent and the wait for the food is excessive. Hoping to see these things improve as they work out the kinks.
I’ve been waiting for this restaurant to open since late October and finally me and my family got to try the famous BBQ Chicken. Love the soy garlic and honey garlic wings. So happy we live close to this restaurant. We will be regular customers for sure and will be recommending it to our family and friends.
If you want some authentic Korean fried chicken, this is the place to visit in Orlando. We visited here when it just opened last year, and we noticed that the quality of food has stayed the same since the last time we visited. They also added more food options like tteokbokki stirred rice cake. We had rose tteobokki and it was good, definitely better than other restaurants in Orlando that offer the same menu. We had their secret sauce chicken, which was good. It would’ve tasted more authentic if it was a bit spicier. The food portion was generous and the price was reasonable. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to wait for food for about 20 minutes because they deep fry their chicken after receiving an order. If you are in a hurry, we suggest that you call in advance to place an order. Will visit again.
