Fun, small casino outside of globe. The steakhouse has good happy hour and appetizers (drinks, wings, potato skins). Very friendly staff, great people. There's a rodeo there for events, might be fun to visit. The casino is small with different machines and a retro bar. I didn't stay at the hotel but it's there too.

I stopped for a meal and fuel. The food was very good and inexpensive. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I did try the casino, a small but very clean place. Very efficient air conditioning, little or no cigarette smoke. I will definitely stop by again.

What a great way to spend the weekend! Everyone is so nice  kind and just plain old fun. You really need to come and experience it for yourselves.

Sorry, this is the lowest review that I have ever given, a 3 point review. I grew up for many years attending the second casino that opened in Arizona, Cliff Castle Lodge in Camp Verde, and I compare every other Indian casino to it as a base point. The Apache Gold Casino has a nice enough atmosphere, very tasty restaurant, and sad casino. I think you'd have a much better time attending one of the fantastic rodeos that they have just outside of the casino in their huge indoor rodeo building.

I have been in this casino approximately 30 times over the past 20 years and have rarely, if ever, heard the bells going off confirming a big winner. This place caters to the "bus-in" geriatric crowd that like to sit and chain smoke while playing penny and nickel slots for 4-8 hours. Gag. 

I like to spend my hard-earned dough in a casino where I know there have been big winners. I won 5k at Cliff Castle once and I was $290 into a $300 dollar purse when I hit the big one. The guy next to me told me that he had hit the same amount, $5,000, the night before of the very same machine.

I like to play at  Indian casinos where these tales float around, true or not. Sadly, Apache Gold has none as far as I can tell.

The gaming is fun. The hotel has a Jacuzzi in some of the rooms.   The steaks at the steak house are excellent.  All are free if you join the club and play with a card you can receive points for free gas as well. There is golfing, and rodeos seasonally.
