Food was very good. We shared the calamari, which was delicious. Very tender and large calamari pieces along with the zucchini. My wife had a pizza with prosciutto on it that was really good. Crust was thin and firm and tasty. I had the Carbonara.. The portion was large, and tasted delicious. The only complaint I have was the pancetta could have been a little better quality... I ran into a lot of chewy fatty pieces which ruins the food for me a bit if I have to constantly stop chewing to spit some part of my food out. Luckily the flavor of the Carbonara overwhelmed the chewy pieces. Our server was excellent, as well as the additional assistance from the staff. They were always antentive and checked on us routinely. We will definitely try this place again. Give them a try... You may want to check availability or see if they make reservations before you go... Place is a bit small and has a lot of happy customers eating there.. Check them out.. We definitely will be going back soon. Parking: Parking in this shopping center is always a hassle. Luckily we were able to find a spot quickly.
Can’t speak for anything but the pizza, but this place is great for a NY style pie. Best spot I’ve had, south of Miami.
I'm not sure what happened. My brother told me he loved this restaurant the last time he came. This time, the food was awful. The only dish that was decent was the focaccia. The pesto gnocchi was average. You got what you expected, but there was nothing special or different. The grandma's favorite pizza had no sauce, and it was burnt more than it was crispy. The flavors were there, but the crust was burnt, and the pizza was dry. I came to the restaurant excited to try the Promenade Pomodoro, and I was massively disappointed. It came to me completely flavorless. The tomato sauce was water. There was NO garlic in the dish, and it simply wasn't good. The service was pretty good, it just took a while to get to us. The restaurant smelled like fish on the inside, and one of our diners has a seafood allergy. It took more than 10 minutes to even find a server, so we just took our stuff outside ourselves. We came in at 8:30 when the restaurant closed at 10. But for standards to drop to this level is inexcusable. Nothing about this trip was outstanding, and I regret coming here. Maybe it would be better earlier during the shift. But that's no excuse.
Look no further, stop your search, and pack your bags.. or wallets because you have officially just ran into the BEST pizza spot on Miami. As a man who suffers from terrible acid reflux and almost every pizza gives me the worst heartburn imaginable while tasting extremely average this means a lot. Upon arriving the staff was really friendly, everyone was wearing masks and we were taken care off the entire time we were there. At one point we even had the manager approach our table and follow up with us to see if we needed anything else. I am a firm believer that if you take care of your customers, they will take care of you and that is just what they did. Not only that, but they had inside seating available which was really nice and intimate but they also set up a mini tent outside that sits over 15 people which was nice. But now onto the highlight of the night. THE PIZZA. I ended up going with Da bomb Neapolitan pizza and the name did not do it enough justice. It is way more than the bomb! The dough was perfectly cooked where you still had some charred pieces, the cheese was plentiful, and the sauce was magical. You can tell all the ingredients were fresh and the sauce was specifically made in house. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and bringing more friends with me next time. -The Fashionable Foodie
So yummy! I was full but I had to finish it was so good. We ordered caprese salad lentil soup pasta carbonara eggplant and arugula salad great lunch specials. Will come again soon @priscillamiami
It’s an excellent place to get a delicious dinner. The attention from James was amazing. He recommended us the best. We tried the pulpo THE BEST IN TOWN. I will definitely will be back and I loved the place ... it’s beautiful.
Love the decor! Trendy, tasteful and fancy without been overwhelming! Garlic bread is delicious! Side salad is small, but the dressing is so good! Fettuccine Alfredo is a good portion with a delicious sauce! Pizza is very good, a bit thin. Eggplant Parmigiana is well prepared. Service is outstanding.
We have no complaints about the service, but we were looking for a fancy dinner our anniversary, and the ultimate price tag has compelled me to mark this restaurant down. We got the calamari appetizer, which had fairly good calamari still worth only 4 stars and scorching hot zucchini on the same plate. Recommended: Their local beer option. Paired very nicely with our entrees since my lovely date ordered chicken alfredo protein cost extra, as she does every Italian restaurant. Her dish gave me the impression of a macaroni and cheese, creamy sauce that definitely didn’t take away from the pasta you should be able to taste your pasta at a good Italian place, but as simple as this dish is, flavor was lacking guess I didn’t want to taste the pasta thattt much. My eggplant parmigiana was fantastic, their marinara sauce is excellent, simple maximizing few ingredients, as any chef should, and versatile. My date didn’t like the bread which came out with salads after our appetizer, but I thought it was fine. My guess is that the emphasis at this location is their pizza, which we did not try. I’d return to this restaurant and this location if I didn’t have to spend closer to $100 for fairly simple meals including only a couple beers.
I came for the 2nd time with more expectations than when i left. Maybe on a Wednesday the staff is not permanent and don't care much. I returned because of the quality of the pizza. This time not sure. The waiter wasnt sure of the specials. The bread came with the pizza instead as you seat down. The calamari had zucchini raw and hard. Fried. Undercooked. The pizza was soggy and burnt, maybe the oven too hot? And the waitress, who wasn't assigned to our table, started clearing the dishes while we were eating. Which stress you out to finish eating in a hurry. Didn't enjoy it as much as the first time. Would i return?
One of my all time favorite go-to’s. We love the service by James and the kitchen recommendations as well as pretty much every dish in the menu. Mr. Jason the owner is always there being attentive and taking the experience for every guest to a new level.
