I have been going to get my hair cut here for the past couple of years.  Because I have naturally curly hair, and am very particular about my hair cuts, I searched for the best.  Maritza (the owner) is excellent at cutting my hair.  She always listens to what I want and need and cuts it exactly the way I ask her.  This is a beautiful day spa!    Always clean and professional.  I always have a very good experience when I come here.

I received a gift certificate and and had difficulty finding this spa open.  I would call and leave phone messages and they never returned my calls.  They are closed on Mondays which was the day I called and their message states "that they are helping customers and can't answer the phone" So I drove to the spa to find out it was closed, didn't they think it good business to have that information on the message.  The next day I went back and they told me they didn't have the staff for a manicure.  I asked for a refund, because I live out of the country and wouldn't be able to come another time.  The woman talked to me in a very rude and condescending tone.  At the very least I would expect if a business isn't  open during their business hours and don't return phone calls, and are understaffed so that  they can't perform services that they advertise , that at the very least they would be polite... not RUDE. This was by far the worst spa I ever had to deal with.

I desperately needed to get something done on a Sunday morning, before an event.  I made an appointment for 10:30, as the place was set to open at 10.  I walked in at 10:20 or so, and the place was totally empty.  I called the phone several times, yelled out "hello!," but there was nothing.  Finally, at 10:30, I walked to the back and yelled out again, and finally a woman came out of one of the rooms to tell me that the woman who was supposed to take care of me was always late, should have been manning the desk since 10, and should be there soon.  If she didn't show, I was told to leave a note - no offer to fix the situation, just told to leave a note (on a post-it)!  I sat and waited until 10:45, when the woman, Raquel, finally sauntered in, said "hi" coolly, and sat down at the desk.  She did not apologize for being late, did not rush to take care of me, nothing.  I got up to walk out, and she asked where I was going.  I told her that I had been waiting, that she didn't bother to even apologize, and that I was not going to let her touch me - she was so unprofessional and absent-minded that I was afraid she would hurt me with hot wax.  She made some excuse about not knowing that I was waiting, as though that explained being 45 minutes late and leaving an entire spa unmanned - I could have taken everything there and walked out, and no one would have known!  It was a horrible experience, it threw off my whole day, and it was just an appallingly unprofessional, tacky place.  Never, ever go here - you definitely deserve better from a spa experience.  I can't believe this place even remains open.
