We had a hail damaged roof replaced with a 50 year roof by Applehanz of Topeka in 2010.  They did a tear off and replacement in 1 day.  The yard around the house was cleaned up of all old roofing that didn't make it into the truck.  They also picked up all the nails with a magnet.  Just recently 2018 we lost a few shingles of the edge to a freak high wind storm. We called Applehanz on Thursday and Cindy said they would have someone out on Monday.  We got the same great service from Ross that did the repairs.

Bryan was very detailed in examining my roof, taking measurements and explaining what was needed and answered any questions I had.  The crew was friendly and left the area nice and clean when done.  Great work!

Our new roof (April of 2017) is our second roof (thanks to hail damage) in the past 7 years. Both roofs were done by Appelhanz Roofing and we are very pleased with their workmanship. For both projects, interaction with them  through the estimating, scheduling, and fast project completion, was a positive experience. We would highly recommend them.

My experience with the roofers was much better than my experience with my insurance company.  After a severe wind storm, the shingles required total replacement.  After serious research and evaluation, I asked Appelhanz to give me an estimate.  They did it within 2 days, then I had to wait over a week for my insurance company to tell me they wouldn't pay a thing for whatever reason they had.  However, I felt the quote was quite reasonable and I selected the 50 year shingles (I believe it was a wise investment), even though I had to pay the entire amount myself.  The job was scheduled within a week, completed in 1 day, cleanup was extremely comprehensive and completed immediately after the roof was finished.  The company even called me a few days later to suggest I contact my insurance company to see if I could get a discount because of the shingle rating.  I did and I did.  Of course now I'll have to keep the insurance I have, but it is certainly saving me a few dollars.  I have no complaints about the roofing job or the price.

Extremely happy with their work! Bryan came out quickly to view the storm damage, he was friendly and knowledgeable. The team that did our roof was done in the same day and cleaned everything up like they were never there. The office staff is cheerful and helpful too!
We used them 13 years ago when we built our house and we are as pleased now as we were then. =o)
