Apple Gourmet has everything you could ever need from your corner store. On the raft occasion they don’t, Jay will go out of his way to make sure it’s available for you. Jay is truly the best, and all employees are kind and helpful.  Both Jay and Apple Gourmet are essential fixtures in the neighborhood.

This place is awesome. I'm surprised at any negative reviews regarding the employees: everyone has always been very friendly whenever I'm there.  The selection, for such a small store, is excellent.

When they described New York City as the “City that never sleeps”, they must have had Apple Gourmet Farm in mind. This market offers round-the-clock quality foods and produce which, for me, has often rescued a dinner in mid-preparation.  An added plus is that they have many items that are not generally carried by the usual corner store or deli but are essential to some more involved recipes. The people working at the store are very friendly and helpful which makes it a quality shopping experience.

This has become my new favorite bodega, after 10+ years in New York. The variety is fantastic: they have all of the staples along with a really great and reasonably priced produce section. The store is always well stocked and very clean now that I think about it and I almost always find what I need there. The gentlemen at the counter are also very friendly, helpful, and kind. Cannot recommend them enough.

The older guy that's usually there at night has the worse customer service. He's does not know how to deal customers and does not make them feel welcomed. I will not be returning.

We got the best Christmas tree we’ve ever had

An excellent store for flowers, fruits, nuts, vegetables, chips, cookies, chocolate!!! And the other food necessities such as milk, cereal, oatmeal, soup, rice, a great selection of teas and coffee as well as Sabra hummus and cheeses.  It is always impeccably clean and run by its owner, a lovely and sweet and kind man named Jay, with a wonderful staff.  I recommend it highly and shop there often.  I also often find that the prices of many of the items sold in the store are the same as those of a grocery store like the rather nearby Brooklyn Fare.  Highly recommended for the lovely staff and the excellent products sold there.  Plus the lovely selection of flowers, and sometimes plants such as succulents.

My daughter needed gluten free soy sauce.  They had 8 different kinds but no GF.  They did have a 13 by 9 pan so I could make gf rice Krispy treats.  It's a good store.  The cashier guy is nice. Flowers are nice.
