Look first let me say I've never been to the NYC location. So my expectations were high and boy I was not disappointed. I ordered a pastrami on rye and was never happier. The meat was so soft and tender. The mustard was spot on and the bread was fresh. I've had a many pastrami in my life but this takes the cake. The staff working on site were extremely friendly and to me asked all the right questions. I finished a half of it and took the rest home. I would come back here again and the dekalb marketplace.

The GOAT of NYC delis. Their pastrami and corned beef—thickly cut and piled high on soft rye with a shmeer of spicy mustard—are a thing of beauty. Each sandwich can easily serve two, but who wants to share? With a side of half-sours and black cherry soda, it is a perfect meal. Good fries too.

It was ok… I mean, the portion is good, the pastrami was also good but something was missing. The cashier was really friendly but the kitchen staff delivering the food seemed they were in a bad mood. Overall, it’s a fair price for the amount of delicious meat you get. It was the bread and the sauerkraut that didn’t convinced me.

My sis got me this as my welcome meal after an annoying missed flight and O did this hit home. The obvious pickle and pastrami pairing was o so good. The pastrami was so flavourful with a touch of fat and my heart skipped a beat. I ate the sandwich whole without hesitation. Would have to admit that this has and will forever be a staple of NY for me. Would recommend dining in for the hectic vibe that I was told and to get both pickles and cucumber as it is the best palate cleanser when you want to go back into the sandwich with a fresh start.

I ordered the 1/2 sandwich with soup for $23. the food was okay, but i really lost interest in my food when i saw the amount of plastic for this small order. Everything was wrapped into plastic. Sometimes two or even three times… maybe it wouldnt be that expensive if you didnt spend all your money on plastic. Its 2022, be better.

I miss Katz so much! The pastrami sandwich looks simple, but the meat is so full of flavors from the marinade. Hearty and delicious!  Since I moved to SF, I even ordered nationawide shipping! That is how delicious it is.

Finally tried the famous katz's and got the Pastrami sandwich.  I gotta say it didnt really live up to its name.  The bread is just a normal supermarket bread while the meat was kind of dry and bland.  The mustard sauce on the side was good though.  Not sure what is the rave about this place.  For a 28$ sandwich, it couldve been better.Food: 2/5

I got the Reuben sandwich, which is super delicious and a good portion, I only finish half a sandwich before my food coma sets in, it is one of the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever tasted for sure.  BUT !! It’s so overpriced it cost me over $30 dollars for a sandwich and a fries, and the service is poor, the guy who took my order was uninterested, he look like he would rather be anywhere than here. And the lady at the pick up counter got an attitude that I didn’t appreciate, because she called my pick up number and I didn’t know the number was on the receipt, she gave me one of those “ hummmm huh you should have pay more attention “ which I think it’s totally unnecessary. That’s why it loses a star.

Of course, I'll always go for this pastrami sandwich. One thing I am grateful for is that there was no lane. My order was ready in about 3 minutes. This shape is much smaller than the main one, and unfortunately, it lakes the ambiance I expected it to have. The sandwich was perfect as always.Food: 5/5

Salty, taste boring! Spend like $25 on pastrami sandwich. Don’t eat here, there is a higher chance you can get better pastrami sandwich at your local diner. I truly doubt if this taste the same as the one on Huston street in ManhattanOriginal Katz deli, at this time I don’t have the courage to spend another $25 to find out. Wanna to try this for a long time, but this is really disappointing.  for the pickles.
