Update: (Changed from 2 star to 1 star) I just noticed from the 'work authorization' email they sent me that the phone needed a back up before the battery change, and also that from the diagnostics 'both antennas are damaged'. They said nothing about about these. First, I used to use Android phones and a change of battery is to open up the back shell, take the old one out, put in the new one, and put back the shell: No back up needed. There is no reason that one should guess out the back up operation, nor should one find this out himself through this further literature reading. Secondly, what does it mean to state that the antennas were damaged when I needed a battery change? Why should I not be told about this existing damage on the spot but in a later email? I hate to admit but still could not help thinking that the antenna may be further damaged (if already) when they perform the battery change, and this email is just to cover things up beforehand. Original post: (2 star) I came in for a battery change for my iPhone 6. An assistant then put me to wait near some Apple TVs, and after a while some other people came to wait for their battery change, too. Then a second assistant came up and started working on my phone. He said he just wanted to make sure that the battery of my phone really needed to be changed. When I told him that my phone was out of battery (that's why I need a battery change as it drains too fast), he told me to wait and turned to the customer after me to run the battery checking for his phone. I kept waiting until this assistant came back to me and took my phone to a charger. He then told me he would return when my phone turned on, but he did not. A while later a third assistant came to me and started battery checking on my phone. It took some time, and to the end of the battery checking, he told me that they actually could not change the battery as they did not have any, and that I needed to come up to this store again when they would have it. Interestingly enough, the customer that came after me had gotten his battery taken care of by then... This is not as big an issue as a real battery problem to me (as the latter one may be physically dangerous), but it made one upset. Though the assistants solved the electronic problem slightly more efficiently by skipping my slightly more time-taking case and later having someone covering it up, their customer service did not appear to me as a reasonable one: This service causes much more extra and unreasonable trouble to one of their customers.

Went in with a simple crack in screen. Given a two hr window for repair. Went back and screen was worse and now could not even use the phone at all when it worked before. All my unsaved photos are lost. Got a new phone there and it has static. One of the reps was a real b also. I will never go back there and will likely not ever buy anything apple again.

My support guy, Brent, was very nice and helpful ,however this store is completely overwhelmed. So much confusion, waiting, background noise, clamor. As they say in Spanish," muy disorganized"! And they need a lot more space and help. Apples is sheltering billions of dollars in profits overseas, avoiding paying taxes that we all have to make up for. How about using some of those exorbitant profits for customer support? I'm currently on a looooong hold just to try to ask someone a simple question while a listen to stupid background music. This is the best Apple can do?

I went to Apple store on Saturday at noon, just to look around with no expectations of getting any help. Pleasantly surprised that although they were busy , I was met by a greeter within 30 seconds, who asked what I was interested in and she quickly had a personal associate who explained the pros and cons of every iPhone and iwatch. for the next half hour with no pressure to even buy anything. A thoroughly enjoyable and informative experience.

It’s busy every time I visit but service has been very good and friendly. Smart people work there and they’re anxious to help.
