Apple used to be known for its stellar customer service. I see they've gotten too big to provide individual customer service. I used to be able to reach the store directly when I called the store's number; now, someone answers curtly after a 20 minute wait, and before I can finish saying why I'm calling, they transfer me to Apple Care, which is not what I need. The experience in this store is disappointing too. You come in and there are about a dozen employees, not all of them helping other customers, but not one will help you.

What happened to the great customer service one used to get at this apple store? When I bought apple products in the past I felt comforted knowing I would be helped right away by competent staff if I had a problem or a question. Are all apple stores like this one now?? The wait time is ridiculous. I was helped by a woman who was anxious to take her break and I didn't get the proper help I needed. Never thought I would say this but it makes me rethink buying apple products...

I decided to go to Apple of Nanuet because I expected good customer service however I was mistaken. My brand new iPhone 7 was acting up showing the Apple symbol and then shutting off over and over. This phone has been protected in an otter box since day one and is only 4 months old. I have been an iPhone user for over 8 years and have never been treated so poorly. I walked into the store which was busy and I meet an employee who told me my phone was alittle dented and I would have to wait 3.5hrs until I can meet another Apple employee so I waited 3hrs and 45 mins then talked to an iPhone specialist who was training a younger employee. The specialist looked at the phone and told me he can look into what they can do for an exchange, the female employee then walked up and whispered into his ear to tell him about the dent. After this Information was exchanged I was told the phone can no longer be replaced with Apple care the phone was less then 5 months old. The decision was already made before I waited over 3.5hrs, nothing was fixed and felt completely disrespected. This is poor business and I have lost respect for Apple products.

I cannot believe how much I learned at this Apple store. Vanessa solved my many problems with storage & the cloud. Her patience & guidance were way above what I expected ! The best !

Booked a Genius Bar appointment to get a replacement phone. Came 30 minutes early but they were not able to accommodate early arrivals, so I perused the local shops until my appt time. Malcolm, the Apple employee who handled my case, was intelligent, friendly, and funny - a great mix of answering questions and offering advice during new phone setup. Not normally a fan of Apple stores, but this experience was a good one. I was in and out within 15 minutes.
