Seriously, $37.11 for 2 burgers, mediocre cold fries and coffee.  Never again.
     You have a choice, for burgers, 1/3 lb Angus or 1/3 lb something else.  We had the Angus and it wasn't a bad burger.  Pretty good actually, just not a $10 burger.  The waffle cut sweet potato fries weren't waffle cut, but they were limp, cold and greasy.
     Did I mention, never again?

Cute place. Lady was nice. Food was disgusting. Two adults and two kids, total bill was $37.00. The burgers were not real beef - gross other substance such as soy. We are so disappointed. We ordered 3 burgers and sweet potato fries and regular curly fries. We could of spent half the amount for better tasting food at McDonald's. Truly, we are so upset we spent $37 and now have to drive somehwhere else to spend more money since our kids are hungry. We don't recommend anyone to go to Apple Valley Cafe for food - save yourself money and just get something somewhere else.

Stopped for dinner after an afternoon in the mountains. Sat in their outdoor dining area on a pleasant day. Chili was great, as were the burgers and curly fries. We will stop again. Staff was friendly too.

Undoubtedly the worst breakfast I have ever paid for.  We could hardly eat half of it. Served on plastic ware, the food was obviously heated up in the microwave and was barely warm. The bacon was like rubber.  I do not usually rate anything but hoping to prevent someone else from making the same mistake we did.  Any fast-food restaurant would more than surpass this one at 1/3 the price! Just plain awful!

Good food and pretty good service overall.  I always stop here when I'm in the area (about once or twice a year) for the general store and for their amazing fried pies.  I love the apple best, but the peach aren't far behind.  Delicious!
