If there was a zero star option, I would have chosen it. We are staying in a local hotel and attempted to go there tonight. It was oddly busy for 9:30 pm. We stood there for roughly 10 minutes before a hostess even greeted us. Once greeted, we were told it would be a 25 minute wait. There were plenty of empty tables... Very annoyed. Went elsewhere and received great service, great food and no wait!

Terrible service. Restaurant isn't even busy and it took over 10 minutes from getting our menus to ordering food. Got our appetizer and my sister was still finishing and server came and took it right off the table. Gave me a crusty dirty side plate. Just overall not happy with the whole experience from start to finish, not to mention our food looked as if it sat under a warming light for a long time. Waitress was very non attentive for there only being 2 tables including us in her section.

I have eaten at Cloquet Applebees many times.Always great food and service.I use curbside to go alot also.Always great.Tonite Heather K.was our server.She was fantastic!Probably best service we have ever had at any restaurant.

Clean restaurant, server was friendly and as efficient as she could be. Food was subpar.... whisky burger lacked flavor... chicken & shrimp was a little over done.... but my son's steak from the kids menu was the worst tasting steak ever. Yuck. Wasn't very busy but they ran out of silverware and we had to wait for some to get washed.... front of house did well but seems like back of the house needs some improvement.

Generally positive experiences here. Wait staff is normally very friendly and receptive. Food tastes good during most visits and is prepared quickly. Sometimes food preparation isn't accurate but generally staff does a good job of rectifying issues. Prices are quite reasonable for most items.
