Mike R conducted a site visit and we discussed options for my plumbing problem. Mike was able to quote stages and pricing for each stage and the work was done within those parameters.  Mike followed-up as was needed and was extremely pleasant to work with.  The work onsite was completed by Russ, John and Luke.  All were hard working ,professional and completed the project as planned and always left the work area clean at the end of each day.  Sharon and Laura were polite and handled my calls and questions and they called each morning to tell me the 'team' was on the way.  Dennis also made a site visit.  I cannot say enough about the quality of work done by the Approved Plumbing Team.

Carl identified our problem and provided multiple options for resolving.  He answered all my questions and laid everything out clearly so I could decide how to move forward.   Once we had a plan of attack the work was done immediately.   This was all done with a few hours of my initial call.

They seem like a quality outfit, but the price they quoted me for a simple water heater job was $900 more than who I ended up going with.  I arranged an appointment and they came out with the new unit, did a very basic inspection and then quoted the job.  They will not quote over the phone.  Their minimum install cost for a 40 gal power vent water heater was $2000, and total job price was $2800 (including expansion tank and extended 10 year warranty kit).  They would not negotiate.  I paid the $89 service call charge and said no thank you.  I ended up using Kline and Kavali in Kent who did the same job for $1900 (with same expansion tank and 10 year warranty kit).  I have no complaints on the service of Approved Plumbing, but their prices and the practice of only quoting on site when you're more likley to cough up the extra money to get the job done then and there is not for me.
