Poor customer service. Due to the clear message that Arhaus does not value customer service, Arhaus has lost a customer for life. I bought one chair that I wanted to pickup instead of paying $150 delivery. The store associate said I needed to talk to the manager regarding picking up the chair because they normally do not allow this. I ordered the chair with the intent to talk to the manager about being able to pickup instead of delivery. The manager called two days later and said we would have to pay $150 for delivery even though the chair can fit in my car. I explained that this is about 15% of my purchase and costs too much for what I bought. She was uninterested in my needs and cared nothing about pleasing the customer. I asked to cancel my order but she said it was noncancellable even though I just ordered 2 days ago and it takes 3 months to get it. It is a shame this company does not value customer needs!

We have purchased many pieces in the past from Arhaus. In January we purchased the Athens 4 piece bookshelves. We went into the store February and worked with a design consultant. We ended up purchasing a Garner sectional and Rio Chair. The furniture was delivered May 10. The delivery team informed us one of the interior shelves did not fit. We called the design consultant and she said go ahead and keep the Athens 4 piece rather than declining delivery and she would make sure to correct the piece with the interior shelf working with Concierge. They sent a tech out June 27th after repeated conversations with the design consultant and me calling the concierge. The tech said he could shave the shelf, but would not recommend since this is brand new piece of furniture and the shelf would not look the same or be same size as the other shelves. The issue was with the actual bookcase not being correct dimensions. The design consultant ensured us she was going to take care of it immediately and order a new bookcase to have delivered asap. During this time, we found the sectional couches connectors do not work. It never connected correctly, which caused the couch to continually scratch our hard wood floors since the floor protector was also missing (nail sticking out of bottom), not to mention NOT CONNECTING. We immediately informed the design consultant who said she would word with Concierge to get this fixed immediately. It is now August 10th!!! This is unacceptable. We still have a bookcase without a fitting shelf and sectional that does not connect and a nail sticking out of the bottom! Again, we have purchased many other items (tables, chairs, cabinets, end tables, etc.) in the past and everything went great, but this has been such a horrible experience with the local store and concierge team that we will not be returning. We are trying to spread the word to go somewhere else for furniture until Arhaus can perform and overhaul with their Concierge department and store design consultants. This is absolutely unreasonable and absurd to order furniture Jan / Feb then have delivered May 10th and now AUGUST to be waiting for them correct and or deliver furniture that should have bookcases with correct dimensions for shelves and a sectional that connects and has the floor protectors attached. I thought Arhaus was supposed to be a higher end furniture store, but I was definitely mistaken.

Carrie in Customer service followed up with me directly to make sure my concerns were addressed. I am impressed with how they were able to respond quickly and turn this experience around for me! Thank You!

If you are looking to pay top dollar for terrible customer service and an overpriced, non-negotiable "white glove" delivery fee, Arhaus is the place for you! When I followed up on a couch order that was two weeks past the promised delivery date, I was placed on the dreaded "hold loop", and disconnected. Very disappointed with the experience.

A couple of weeks ago I went to the St Matthews location and wanted to purchase a large wall clock . I went to the desk to pay for the clock in cash and I asked when could I pick up the merchandise. The sales associate told me to come back Monday . The weight of the clock was an issue and I may have to wait until the clock came from the distribution center. This could take 2-3 weeks or longer. Now offering to pay cash could I get my money back if I was not able to pick up the clock Monday. NO! I would have to wait several weeks for a refund check . I called the store manager Amanda about my experience. I almost felt as if I was an inconvenience . The manager said she would get back with me about the level of service. No call, email or letter of apology for such POOR CUSTOMER service to date. I WILL NEVER STEP back into that store. You need to remember who the customer is Arhaus.
